Philips Norelco Shaver 2400 Series, Wet and Dry Electric Shaver, Pop-up Trimmer, P-Cap, Deep Black, Model X3001/90

This is a replacement of my VERY old (23 year) Norelco shaver and boy howdy is is a marked improvement. It allows for a wet shave not a shave in the shower/bath shave because it ain't waterproof. The pivoting heads action is so much better than my ancient Norelco as the rotating driver shafts also pivot giving a MUCH tighter contour allowing for a closer shave around the corners of my face

I bought this shaver for my son's first shaver. He was worried about razor burn, cuts and rashes and wanted to try an electronic shaver. He has used it for a month and it has met every need. It holds a charge for a long time. He has not had any skin issues or cuts. The shaver provides a decently close shave as well. It is a little bulkier than other shavers on the market which does not make it great for travel. But it is a great at home option. It is a great value for this price point.

Quality shaver that sets the standard. This is the second one purchased but this one was for a relative overseas. I like the side burn trimmer feature which I use quit often. The cutting blades are easily replaceable which I have done once in 5 years of ownership. Buy it and you won't be disappointed.

My husband LOVES his new replacement shaver. Didn't have to spend a lot and it works as well, if not better, than his former expensive one! This was a great savings for a good, high-quality product!

This thing performs well and I could give it 5 star if it had Lithium Ion battery. But the power fades quickly like it uses NiCad or NmH obsolete battery tech. This is important because its like putting a VW engine in a Ferrari. It has the components for a powerful shave but the mfg doesn't let you have it. You get one good performance. The other thing is the trimmer is weak and cheesy. But I guess the mfg has to compete with 'me too' features without regard for people actually using the trimmer. I am really disappointed that I am denied more than one good shave. If I can't get the performance, the mfg does't get a better review.

Ok, this is funny. Ive had this darned shaver for years. One of the pieces holding it together fell off and went down the drain, and so I bought a new shaver. The new shaver sucked, so I went back to this one even though one of the pieces holding it together was missing. It works great and shaves still, and I am too stubborn to buy a new one. I love it.
