Good for beginners maybe, did not have enough pracitical stuff but for the basic concepts it was good. Try it.

Anybody who works with kids this is well worth reading. A well written easy to understand introduction to psychodynamics .

Good book

This is a great book that is easy to read and understand, it came in perfect condition and arrived speedily

Unfortunately, the book does not really live up to its title. It talks about the various settings where a psychodynamic approach might be used, giving a diversity of case discriptions. But it does not deliver on the nuts and bolts of psychodymic counselling as it rather implies that the reader is already a skilled psychodynamic practitioner. Thus it is not recommendable to readers who wish to learn something about the psychodynamic counselling process itself.
