A blessing for the hearing impared
My hearing is bad. Real bad. Even wearing high end programmable hearing aids, I can't watch TV.BUT, THESE HEADPHONES WORK! Yes! I take off my hearing aids and put these on and I'm good to go!These headphones work independently of the TV volume control! Yep! I can listen with the TV sound off!MAKE SURE YOU HAVE RCA PLUG ON YOUR TV! If not search "fiber optics" to RCA converter to use.

Terrible Terrible, Terrible
Batteries would not recharge after a short while even they were rechargeable batteries, Had to replace unit a number of times. Very, very unhappy with this product. Don't recommend! Service unavailable.

Comfortable to where. BUT I have two other sets that work but they wound stay on to bad head strap padd .

A great buy but beware the fragile headband.
These earphones are so good that this is the third pair I have acquired. I would have rated them 5 stars but for thepoor quality of the head strap and ear muffs. The first pair was a gift and the strap snapped after a couple of years and the muffs wore out. The second pair which I purchased the strap snapped after a couple of months. I improvised a stretch fabric band and used them for another 2 years.I have a hearing deficiency and find them invaluable for TV dialogue, but even TV music sounds very good. I just finally acquired hearingaids but I still use these earphones for TV. I appreciate that they operate on an infra red principle which does not interfere withother 2.5 g wireless gadgets in the room. The only other infra red phones that I found available were nearly 4 times the price and did not lookthat much sturdier with respect to the headband anyway. A great earphone but take care with the headband. Also the ear muffswear out after 2 years and their replacement price with shipping is excessive. Therefor I decided for third go around and to not stretch that headband more than needed.

The J3’s work as promised and we have 6 headsets
My wife has terrible hearing and they serve her very well. I wear the J3 while my wife sleeps and I turn the TV volume off. In my case, I wear a oxygen cannula and glasses. My ears get irritated.

Wouldn’t connect
Wouldn’t connect needed something else to connect to tv
