Good 1st drone
Got this for.my hubby's birthday. We knew nothing about drones and this does what it says on the tin. Easy to follow instructions and fun to use. Very good value for the price. Would recommend.

FLEW AWAY! RIP OFF!
The drone lost contact with the controller. I could see it but had no control. This should have triggered 'return to home' function. It didn't! When the battery is low, should have triggered 'return to home' function. It didn't! Flew away, never to be seen again. 'Find my aircraft' function showed the position where WiFi contact was lost! No after sales response from seller! Other reviews show this was not a one off. I requested refund but no contact from seller. If I could score zero stars, I would. RIP OFF!

Very Poor Performance – Returned
Very lightweight and easily blown off course, especially in windy conditions. Camera quality is quite poor and not suitable for anything serious. The only real positive is that it comes with two batteries. Fine for basic play, but I ended up returning it.

Impressive for a non-gps drone
I've got uite a bit of drone flying experience over the last few years and I'm a registered drone pilot with Operator and Flyer ID. Whilst I have a few DJI drones, I also like to play with the toy ones in the garden and local park, as well as these in-between drones, which are clearly beyond being toys, but don't quite meet the professional level due to limited flying range, etc. I can quite happily say that this is one of the better non-toy drones that I've had the pleasure of flying. Firstly, you notice the brushless motors, which really make a difference on a drone. These are really responsive and, as my video shows, you get a nippy reaction in top speed mode. The optical flow is also impressive on this. Non-gps drones tent to drift in a slight breeze, but it's done a good job on this, with barely any movement from the wind. Later in my video, you see it hovering and remaining in place. There's 2 batteries included, which are 1600mAh. These will give a decent run time. The camera is also really good for a budget drone. Photos are clear, as well as video. I took a screenshot from the app, which shows the on screen data and the image. You can even move the camera up and down via the controller. The controller is a fairly bulky design, but it's responsive controls are good. The buttons are easy to understand and it uses the standard type 2 modes. The range is only 100m, but that's on par with most other non-GPS drones. For what you'll use this for, it's probably more than enough. I like that you have red and green lights on the drone too. The batteries take a little time to charge due to the size, however they work well and the modular design makes it easy to swap them over. Overall, I'm really pleased with this and can definitely recommend it. It even has a decent case to carry it around in, with slots inside for everything.

Do not busy
Don’t buy this item battery doesn’t exceed a minute, the drop disconnects from gps mid flight. Flys off uncontrollably. Poor quality. Waste of money

Hannviw H220 Drone
Steve UK Review Flew for about a minute then started to beep and return. It appears to have lost connection, the batteries are fully charged. The drone was very stable in flight and easy to control. I have requested assistant from the supplier, received one reply "Please charge the batteries" and replied I have ,any other ideas. Have not recieve any further correspondence.

I'm totally impressed with the feature set of this HANNVIW H330 drone at the $50 price point. It's definitely not a hobbyist drone, but also not just a toy. Agreeing with others who've mentioned it: I could totally see me using it to do gutter inspections or shooting still images in locations where I might feel uncomfortable risking my DJI. Highlights: Image and video storage is on an SD card (not included) in the drone. This allows for higher resolution images which don't necessarily bog down the WiFi connection which is also sending live video back. Stills are 4096 x 3072. Video is 1080P. Stills are automatically transferred to the phone - I couldn't find a way to disable this transfer. Video stays on the memory card. The camera tilt feature is something I haven't seen before. It's just a simple motorized pivot stepping to fixed angles - not a gimbal - but it gets the job done. The brushless motors are WAY more powerful (and durable) than the brushed motors on most cheap drones. With a fresh battery and on "high" speed setting, I've been able to navigate accurately in winds up to about 10 MPH. Have not had a windless day yet, but expect a pleasant, long flight when I get one. Binding the controller to the drone is automatic and connecting a phone via WiFi is equally painless. I did not experience any connection or latency issues in testing, which was to a line of sight distance of about 300 ft. The app is straightforward and relatively easy to understand. I didn't try any of the "advanced" features like headless or gravity modes, flips, or tracking. Carry case is a nice extra. Lowlights: Video (actually the whole drone) is shaky, especially in the wind or while on the move. I'd say that it's fine for taking videos from a stationary drone in light-to-no wind with moving objects on the ground. Not so good for videos with the drone on the move. As expected, the camera (still and video) doesn't do well in low or low-angle light. There is considerable lens flare when anywhere near a low sun. Still images are grainy in low light. There's also an annoying lag between pushing the picture button and the actual picture being taken. There is n "click" to indicate it's being taken, but apparently the camera tries to wait for a stable moment before actually snapping the picture. Better results...but maybe not of the intended subject. As the battery wears down, power (and ability to counteract wind) drops noticeably. Several times while landing, I wound up WAY off target because the motors could not keep up with the headwind on the way down. Usable flight time in wind is about 10 minutes. I'm sure that the advertised 15 minutes flight time per battery is plausible if you're not fighting a breeze. The controller is by far the biggest disappointment in the package. It's super light and the phone holder is loose where it attaches to the controller. The phone grips on the holder are tiny and lightly sprung. I had to remove the thin cover the old Essential Phone that I use for a screen to be able to use it in the holder. With the thin cover on, the phone would just pop out at the slightest movement. The controller is so light that the phone weight destroys the balance, making it uncomfortable to hold. Other Info: The drone is about 18" wide, diagonally, tip-to-tip and weighs about 190G. Well within the FAA personal use sub-250 gram exemption from RemoteID and registration. Onboard storage is by microSD card, which is NOT included. The unit seems to automatically format a new card when inserted. The manual states that the transmitter/controller takes 3 AAA batteries. That's not true - it takes 3 AA batteries. All-in-all this drone is a GREAT value at the $50 price point and could be useful to novice user to develop basic skills before committing to big bucks hobbyist drone...or if you just want to inspect your gutters and roof.

This is my first drone ever that has GPS capabilities. And let me tell you. Even if you are inexperienced with drones In GENERAL! Youl find that this particular brand , specializes on vein the most user friendly it can be so we can learn and fast!!. Has amazing capabilities. The only limits is battery time, because when this baby takes the sky , it battles against the wind to keep straight by it's self, comes home whenever you want to or loose control or have low bat. And uses Google maps to make "stops" on points you mark on the map. Using the GPS, this drone goes on an on for ever, does not matter distance, only when it's low bat that it returns but it can go very hi also. Best drone ever!!! And the customer service believe it or not is very Happy to assist you

The drone works great. it's easy to learn and appears to be good quality. picture quality is really good for a drone at this price. item arrived with 1 dead battery and the seller replaced it for free with no issues.

It is overall a nice drone but I got it to try and get into videography without breaking the bank and this kind of turned me off. It is also really slow.

I am a beginner in the world of unmanned flight, and so I was looking for something to simply dip my toes in and explore drones. At this price point, this seemed like a good jumping off point. This unit is lightweight but appears to be made from generally quality materials. It is likely not nearly as sturdy as a $500 drone, nor would I expect it to be for the price, but looking at the hardware it appears that the manufacturer uses decent weighted components and they are fastened together with real metal screws. The thing that makes this a three star drone, in my opinion, is that the instructions are awful. There are buttons on the physical controller and in the app that I cannot for the life of me figure out what they do. I've never flown a drone, and I have no idea what I'm doing, and the instructions don't make it any clearer. When I first unboxed this thing I had it in my office trying to play around with the phone app and whoops! The thing took off. Luckily it just hovered and didn't hit anything or anyone (it could cause some serious damage/pain, I think), and I was able to lower it to the ground again but it was a frightening event. I'll chalk it up to user error, but that error was directly formed by the lack of clear instructions. I still have not been able to get the video feed to connect reliably, either. Because of that, I'd mark this unit more as a novelty or a training aid for someone like me versus a serious drone for serious people. That said, at this price point I think it's a fair buy, but unless they put better instructions in the box I can't rate it higher than a 3 star.
