Dimmable & Height Adjustable Floor Lamp in a Black Chrome Finished

We received someone else's return and it was manifestly useless so it was refunded and we were told to keep it at nil cost. Our opinion is: Pros: 1. Looks excellent except the ultra cheap and nasty looking incongruous chrome switch. 2. The metal tube components are fit for purpose as opposed to flimsy. Cons: 1. The ultra cheap and nasty looking incongruous chrome switch. 2. The lamp head will not adjust in an upward - downward plane so it is utterly useless as a reading lamp (to get it to shine on your lap where a book would be you have to rotate the upper arm down so low that it looks daft and gets in your way) 3. The clamping lever at the mid joint it not fit for purpose - it requires excessive force to tighten it to stop the top arm from rotating downwards. Pliers would be needed because of the too-short lever but then it would break. 4. The plastic coated wire flex from the lamp to the plug has a clear plastic coating which again looks naff and incongruous. Pity, because for a negligible extra expense, say £2, by the manufacturer all of the above cons could be removed and it would be a very good lamp.

The package was kinda a mess. It was wrap with broken pieces of foam plastics but the product was not damaged. It looks like a second hand product because of the packaging I think. It was in great condition and works perfect for me! It came with an EU plug as main and UK adapter was added. Delivery is prompt. After over 1 month, the lamp is working as intended! Sturdy frame.

This is possibly a returned or repackaged item, mine did not work out of the box. As I was intending to use it with a Philips hue bulb at the end of the day I re-wired it to make it work. Supplied with a two pin European plug and as this lamp is a metal construction I changed the power cable as well to a three pin uk plug with an earth to make it safer. On the positive side it looks really good and mechanically has a good build quality.

Nice looking lamp, very sturdy build but,,, could not find the dimmer/on off switch anywhere. The little chrome button where the switch was supposed to be located did nothing. Reported back to the seller who were very good and sent a returns label and gave us a refund within a couple of days

Faulty on arrival no communication about a refund - looked second hand do not buy

We love it used every night.
