Nice quality adapter. Many of my hobby projects are powered by a usb cable. It's hard to place my projects where there isn't USB power. I can now use a 3 AAA batter pack that comes with a female USB receptical to power my projects without needing a USB power source. These are much less expensive than purchasing several USB power packs. I definitely recommend this adapter.

I have an M2 SSD in a Sabrent enclosure. I was connecting it via a USB C to USB A cable to my Zidoo media player. I was playing a very high bit rate movie. This implementation used a 1ft cable, the shortest one I have. During playback, my movie would abruptly stop playing. The SSD is fast and there is no issue with the Sabrent enclosure, so I suspected that it was the cable. Instead of messing with additional cables to determine the root cause, I bought these adapters. Voila! No interruption in streaming. These work great and support very high bit rate transfers, so for 8 bucks, my problem is fixed and I can continue to transfer movies from my SSD to my media player without incident. Highly recommended.

I do find that this adapter works okay, but sometimes when I plug into my iPhone it doesn't connect and I need to pull it out and back in at least once. I use it primarily to connect my iPhone to an aftermarket CarPlay device in my car (because the bloody wireless is flakey!).
