Casting from 3D printed resin masters is usually a nightmare, as you either have to use tin-cure (awkward to weigh out) or clearcoat the parts and pray the silicone isn't cure inhibited. Not anymore! I've tested this with various 3D printed resin parts and it works perfectly every time- save for one slight mistake where I didn't mix the parts properly (as a side note, I find adding a pigment to one part before mixing can ensure proper combination). It's also an extremely well behaved silicone in general, strong and not too thick, and cures fast enough to get a mould made quickly but not so fast that you rush pours- as silicone rubber goes it's pretty simple to use. Otherwise general mould making wisdom applies; have a vacuum chamber to avoid bubbles, ensure both halves are properly mixed, etc etc. Honestly even if this was just "normal" silicone I'd recommend it, but the fact it works with photopolymer resin is a massive bonus. Highly recommended for anyone interested in casting rubber.

I picked up the Siraya Tech Defiant 25 Platinum Silicone kit to make dice molds for my resin projects, and honestly, I was impressed from start to finish. I’ve tried a few different silicones over the years, but this one stood out for a couple of reasons. Easy Mold Making, Even for First-Timers Mixing the silicone parts was genuinely straightforward—just combine, mix thoroughly, and pour. I wasn’t worried about missing the pot life or it getting too thick way too fast. What really sold me was how smoothly it flowed around my dice masters and settled into all the small details. If you’re worried about bubbles or fine print not coming out, don’t be; the results were crisp. No Curing Headaches One of the frustrations with making molds using 3D printed pieces is the risk of curing inhibition, but this silicone just worked. I didn’t need to coat my models or do anything special; it cured perfectly next to my UV resin prints—no sticky spots or half-cured messes. Awesome for Dice The 25A hardness is just right—it holds its shape but doesn’t feel like a brick when you’re demolding. My finished dice popped out cleanly, and the molds have lasted through a few sets without stretching or tearing. The translucency of the cured silicone also made it easy to check for air bubbles before the mix set up, which saved me from having to remake molds. Works Seamlessly With Siraya Tech Fast Navy Grey Resin A huge bonus for me has been using these molds with the Siraya Tech 2kg Fast Navy Grey resin. The silicone and resin work together perfectly—no curing issues, and the detail from the mold comes through clearly in the final casts. The Fast Navy Grey resin cures reliably in these molds without sticking or leaving any residues, so every dice pour came out crisp and clean. Great Value & Size The amount in the kit is generous, and I got several dice molds out of one batch with some left over. For anyone making custom dice, the kit’s size and ease of use make it a practical, reliable choice. Would I Recommend It? Absolutely. If you want an easy mold-making experience—especially for detailed work like dice or resin crafts with popular resins like the Siraya Tech Fast Navy Grey—I’d say give the Siraya Tech Defiant 25 a shot. It took the stress out of the process and gave me professional-looking results with less prep and cleanup.

Perfect silicone for making molds from 3d prints, never had any issues and comes out perfect every time

Excellent product to make usable things out of or for mold making. For resin molds I use Siraya Tech Build mixed with Tenacious Obsidian Black 50:50 I then UV cure the mold under vacuum in a glass jar for 30min or you can use distilled water in a glass jar and cure for 30min to remove sulfur contamination, mold is ready to be used with no reaction from the silicon. Colour's mix in very well and also micro powders like ptfe and carbon black. I will be testing mixing it with some Surface Tension Diffuser this to give the surface less friction.

Edited review: After being disappointed initially about a curing problem with 3d printed stuff, I had to come back to say that after waiting a couple of days and trying again it worked this time, phew! So I can't make the mould on the same day which is a bit of a shame but it's not such a huge issue (if I am not in a hurry, hence the 4 stars). The silicone is firm but flexible and I do like the result!

Works brilliantly. Takes mica pigment well and the self degassing is effective. Used for a few different projects now and it is quite durable when demolding/removing from form and is a good mix between stiffness and flexibility in general. Sets quickly while still allowing a good working time and gentle tapping/vibration should help any bubbles fully escape. Seems to handle small amounts of UV resin just fine although if you are casting a resin print I would recommend a topcoat just to be safe. Mixes well and cleans up just fine I should note too.
