I'm so happy I went with these! I like the shape of them, difficult to get a grip on when installed. The key is not for "locking or unlocking," which I kind of figured because how would that actually work? The prongs on the covers are thick to make them fit tightly and securely into the outlet. They're definitely difficult to take off. The key is just used to help take them off, however, I feel like the key won't last too long as it's just a thin piece of plastic, and you really need to tug in the right direction to get the covers off. Luckily there is 6 of them in this pack, and I know to be careful with them. I have them hidden around the house for easy access. The covers are just what I was looking for, and I think it's fun to have keys for them. Most certainly would recommend!

Have these in all the outlets in our home. They are secure and fit tight in the sockets. Removal requires the included 'key' which we keep in a couple places around the house near outlets we use often for items such as the vacuum cleaner. The key is pretty much required to remove and these are not easy to pull out by hand. They close off the outlet well and I feel safe having them installed when my son is near the outlets. *note, our outlets are newer and fit in older outlets may or may not be different.

We moved into an older home that surprising has a million outlets, including what seemed like thousands in the master and adjacent office. This was exactly what we were looking for, plus has the added benefit of not easy removal for our 2 year old.Only downside they don’t fit nicely onto a non-standard outlet, i.e. four outlet setup. Still, great product otherwise.

These are 1000000X better than the regular super cheap covers! I've broken so many nails trying to pop off the cheap ones (and I don't even have long nails!) I love that each pack comes with a key too, so we have a key in each room (out of reach of our little one obviously). I feel like they even stay in better than the cheapy brands too! We replaced all of our old ones with this brand and I wish we did sooner!

Boutgh this in order to prevent my little boy from conecting the cell phone charger .To my sorprice he didn't need the key to remove them he used the other side of the charger ( the one that goes to the phone ) and was laughing a lot when he finally remove it whitout using the key. Gotta keeep looking another way to cover the outlets.

They look nice (not cheap) and my kid can't pull them out. They are easy to remove with the given key, but I am also able to get my fingernails behind them and pull hard enough to get them out. But I do have to say that they are snug enough that I don't think a young kid could pull them out.

As advertised, these are a snug fit with the addition of the ground plug. The keys are really not necessary for an able bodied adult to remove them, but I am confident a toddler could not pull these out

Great outlet covers that are difficult to remove without the key which is perfect with a little boy at home. Comes with enough keys to have throughout the house. Very pleased with this purchase.
