I use these YETI Rambler 4 oz stackable cups every morning at home for espresso, paired with a DeLonghi La Specialista. From a size and performance standpoint, they are exactly what I was expecting and hoping for. The capacity is ideal for a proper espresso pull. I typically dose around 18.5g of coffee and extract roughly 38g of espresso, and these cups handle that volume comfortably without feeling cramped or at risk of overflow. There is still enough headroom to enjoy the shot without making a mess, which is something smaller espresso cups often struggle with. Heat retention is noticeably better than a standard shot glass. While it’s not meant to keep espresso hot indefinitely, it does maintain temperature slightly longer, which improves the drinking experience. The stackable design is also a nice touch for storage and organization. My only minor consideration is the recent trend toward ceramic-lined drinkware from a health perspective. That said, these clean easily, have no lingering odors, and the espresso tastes clean and true with no metallic notes. Overall, this is an excellent product for coffee enthusiasts. It’s more of a premium amenity than a necessity, but if you enjoy the ritual of espresso and appreciate well-made accessories, these cups are absolutely worth it.
