The difference these heel socks made after just one week is so phenominal that I immediately ordered more. AND they make an entire sock that is gel-lined for sleeping in after you moisturize, as well. They fit well and you can wear them around the house or flip flops or with house shoes. I am not crazy for the added scent, but it is not bad and goes away after you hand wash them before wear. I love the cute colors and the black/gray. They also make the heel socks in a fuzzy version with more color variety. My heels stay cracked and dry because I wear open heeled Birkenstocks almost exclusively and jog/walk/hike in totally open minimalist barefoot sandals (Totems-LOVE). NOTHING has helped me keep my heels soft and healthy or heal them once they crack. They were SO bad. Just the first day with these were amazing. By day two my cracks were healing. By the end of the week, my heels were soft again. I use these all the time and dry heels are not a problem anymore. They are inexpensive enough that they a totally worth a try. So do it!!!! And they shipped to me the next day!

These are a miracle. I have tried lotion and other "sock" solution. These gave me significant relief for my cracked heels after one night's use.

Though they tend to be tight around the foot, they work great. I had a lot of cracks in my heels, which began to disappear within a day or two, and now my heels are pretty smooth.

1. For me: after a few weeks, my chronically heavily cracked and thickened heels have returned to an almost normal (far from ewwwww) state. I'm talking heels that require a serious grater whenever I finally venture for a pedicure (my MIL STILL comments on how much work was needed when we all did pedis some years ago). I am positive a few more weeks with these heel socks, along w a few foot soaks, will show no evidence of the previous dreadful condition. 2. For my wife: her feet always look fine so she wasn't interested...until one day she commented how one heel would itch at night. she put them on and was astounded how the itching stopped and also how comfortable they are. the gel feels so good when walking (it's easy to layer another pair of socks) and the open toes allow heat to dissipate (vs getting hot wearing full socks at night). 3. For my MIL: she's the tree to my apple wife. MIL, too, has good-looking feet. at 83 she gets pedis simply bc it's more difficult for her to bend to cut her nails. she is a nighttime sock wearer, and usually kicks them off at some point bc she gets too hot. just like my wife's experience, the open toes keep her cool enough, and she loves the comfort the gel provides.

These heel socks are a genius idea for softening heels, keeping skin supple and ending cracked heel pain. I have not washed them yet but I would think they could be machine washed in cold water and air dried to avoid damaging the gel. One size fits all. Very helpful for those with chronic cracked heels.

Don't buy waste of money

These are ok. Helpful in moisturizing heels. Would be nice to have closed toes though, so you can put lotion on the rest of your feet and not have it get everywhere
