Have robertshaw ds 845 no. 100-00832-13. fire lights but goes out. ignition fails to respond. module tests ok. could this replace existing igniter?

I replaced the ignitor which is also a sensor as well. My gas fireplace would start but then go out within a couple of seconds. Once I replaced the ignitor, the fireplace stayed lit.

Hi. You need to look at you fireplace if igniter looks the same. Or call manufacturer and ask part number

GGBC36e is my model looks almost identical will it work

This worked for me. I accidentally purchased one that was not tall enough. I would remove the old one first, to make sure. I found that the ignitor was broken and the main unit that was expensive also had to be replaced.
