Exactly as expected!
This bandsaw blade fits my Shopsmith 11" bandsaw perfectly. I was getting ready to order a custom blade to get my project going, but this one is cheaper and works great. Using this in conjunction with the Shopsmith speed reducer and a little cutting oil, I can now cut ferrous metals for small projects. It looks well made, so I don't anticipate any problems. I haven't used it enough to test long-term blade life, but I'll be sure to update this review if the blade life isn't reasonable.

Know how to use it...
We bought this blade to use in our shop as a hard wood and soft metals cutter. Works well for it's intended purpose. As long as you use the right speed and the right blade for the right material, you should get a lot of use out of this blade. We have and we use it a lot. Will buy again.

Can’t recommend this saw blade
This is not a blade to cut medal. It lasted almost 1” into a 1/8” bar of 1080 steel. Yes that was one inch. This was at the slowest speed possible to keep heat at a minimum and wetted with light cutting oil. Might be ok on cold rolled soft steel but would not recommend on any good knife quality steel.A second blade was used to slice a section of Black walnut into 1/4” slabs. The wood started out as a 12” dia log, split in half then sliced into slabs. Half way thru the first half the Blade began to dull could not maintain thickness, even when tighten as much as possible. Softer wood should be ok but would not recommend for any hard wood.

Use of blade on open metal shelving may not be “soft” metal!
The product was well packaged and arrived in good condition to permit use. We needed this band saw blade to trim the edges of 1/4 in plastic coated open wire shelving. Since this material was easy to cut with bolt cutters we felt the material was rather a soft metal. However the blade teeth were gone after 8, 1/4 round stock cuts. Perhaps the blade but the type of metal contributed to the short life. I did not expect the blade teeth to be effective worn away.

It does its job.
It cuts. Good price. It doesn't stay as sharp as I'd like. I have only cut aluminum with it and it has dulled after 8 cuts of 1 1/2 inches long (although, they were through 5/8 inch thick aluminum). But it is supposed to cut harder metals. We'll see how it does.

Poor quality
Didn't even make it through 2 cuts on 1/4" aluminum flat bar or steel. Dulled in seconds with no force being applied to blade and I used a cutting fluid.Better suited for wood but definitely not "bi-metal"

Bad Quality
This is super low quality material bought two of them and started to cut soft cold roll steel and blade went dull with in minutes.

Wont last
This was used to cut some very thin metal exhaust pipes and I only got 2 1/2 cuts before it was useless. Had to finish the cuts by hand with a hack saw.
