Just installed, seems to be working fine
I have a slow leak based on my increased water bill. So I installed this meter right outside my house. This has allowed me to determine that the leak is most likely past my shutoff, and unfortunately probably under my slab. (I can see that the leak is not in my yard between the water company meter and the side of the house).Positives:- Fairly easy to install. I had to dig out a hole to put it in, and also installed an in ground meter box.(note: I had a nice straight run of pipe to put it in, which is required to have accurate measurements)- No additional power wiring required on the outside of the house- The digital part that goes on the outside of the house uses standard AA size batteries(requires lithium AA batteries but comes with them).- The part that goes inside the house uses a standard USB plug and includes both WIFI andEthernet port. I did initial setup with Ethernet and then was able to put the WIFI on my guest network(did not require local LAN access). Works fine with the Ethernet cord unplugged.- Both the Yolink hub and the outside digital part of the meter paired easily with the Yolink app(Android phone, app is in the play store). Paring is done by scanning a QR code, first on the Hub.And then later scanning the QR code on the back of the digital part of the meter.- Customer service responded very quickly to my feedback about the app.Negatives:- You only get a total water used amount and not a flow rate, where the water company meter gives GPM(you can select the units between Gal, L, CCF, M3).- My leak is too slow to be continuously monitored by the digital part. If I am not using water, my leak shows up as a periodic blip once an hour of about 5 gal. The meter is still measuring the amount, it just doesn't get reported on the app constantly. This is also kind of a feature because it helps preserve the battery life.- The wiring between the flow meter and the digital part that stays outside could be better. It comes with generic WAGO type connectors to connect between the digital part and the meter. There is no enclosure for this connector and it is left exposed. I kind of want to get an external box to put the digital part in now even though it is IP66 rated.- The app is not very intuitive. It does have quite a few features (it is designed to work with other yolink devices, but I only have the water meter). I was hoping to share the device with another user. I initially didn't see any option to do this in the app. So I submitted feedback that the functionality should be added. Yolink responded with instructions on how to set it up, since the feature was already there.

Great for checking water usage remotely
I had a water leak between my meter and my home and didn't realize it until the next water bill showed up. Now I have this meter right next to the city meter and I can check the water usage anytime from anywhere.I love how far the signal travels! So much stronger than regular WIFI. Like 10x stronger.Easy to install and set up.The only downside with the app is that I cannot see the gallons used over a specific period. I can see the a chart of hourly or daily usage. And I can see a chart of an entire month, but it doesn't show the number of gallons over that period of time. I need to download the data, put it in Excel and get the total there.I can see the meter reading at any point, so if I were to write down the reading on the first of every month, I could calculate it easily. I just wish the total number was clearly displayed on the screen. It's also not clear if it sends the leak notifications automatically, or if there is something that needs configuring. But for me the most important thing is that I can see the number anytime (and also double check the city meter reading!)

Don’t buy
I got working. The wires to connect to the digital reader are very picky. But once the connection was sound, it has been working well.Customer service was pretty slow to respond, and ultimately I figured it out before they got back to me. Overall, it’s working well now.

Yolink
I just installed a YoLink 1.5-inch water meter on my main water line and added the YoLink All-in-One water meter to my sprinkler system in the backyard. It's great being able to monitor all my water usage so precisely and control exactly how much water my grass gets. The quality of the devices is top-notch, and the range is impressive.I do wish there was an All-in-One solution for 1.5-inch pipes as well. Hopefully, that’s something YoLink can consider for the future. I'm planning to expand my setup with more YoLink devices soon!

Not working from Day one, No customer service help or response.
I wish I can give zero rating! I lost money installing this by provisional Plumer and not I have piece of junk in my pipe I need to remove to be replaced with another brand that actually trust wreathy. I tried to reach them but no response. I need a replacement or refund me the total amount. I keep this review as warring to other not to buy this brand and be careful no customer service. you will lose a lot of money, the product you buying andthe installation fee, and re-installation fees!Update review:The meter starts working by itself in August while I bought it and installed it in May! About three months not giving any DATA , and the meter in the pipe itself stuck on 0.6 gallon, few day ago in August it started working just like that! without interference! I’ll monitor the meter this month and next month, if it keeps working I’ll delete my review and rating to positive!

I use this meter to monitor my pool fill, you can't go wrong with Yolink devices of any kind. And support is there if you need them. It's high quality, nothing cheap about this meter, went it smooth.

Solid build and easy to install, gonna pay for itself in a year!
I have a commercial multi-tenant building rental where everyone shares in the water bill. A new tenant moved in recently who uses a lot of water for their business. I have PEX plumbing and the YoLink meter was super easy to install.I was pleased at the excellent build quality of the meter and the control unit was super easy to link to the Hub and connect to the YoLink app. I'll be able to check the the gallons used remotely so I can bill the tenant and offset the increased water bill.I look forward to getting a meter for my house so I can set the App to monitor high usage and notify me so I can check for leaks; I have 350 of main line between the main meter and my house and have had many leaks on the main, one water leak bill was $1600 (when we were on vacation).
