It's not the highest quality, but pets will always muck things up quickly if they love them. Cats are happy on this and it's good value.

We got this last year for our cat Dominique. It didn't look impressive and we worried it would be too "noisy" for her. But...our cat loved it from the very moment we stretched it out. She has been inseparable from it, particularly on cold days. It was such a success that we wanted to buy another for our sofa so that she had a choice of where to sleep. We were disappointed to find this was no longer available but found the same company did a larger dog version. We bought that one, and it's been another hit. I'm hoping the company doesn't stop making them for when we eventually need replacements.

Not just for cats, my small old dog feels the benefits of his self heating rug, he loves it.

You literally get what you pay for with this. The inside has a foil sheet and every time the cat jumped on or off the cover it made a rattling noise like a polythene bag, I really find that sound totally irritating, but also the material is very thin and very cheap. I threw it in the bin I just couldn’t put up with it anymore.
