Excellent running cap. Very light and comforable, the peak doesn't hamper your line of sight at all and it's very breathable. You can fold it up to quite a small size so you stow in a mesh pocket on your trail top or pack. Excellent hat for road or trail when you want some cover from the sun but want to forget you are wearing a hat. Later (months later) update: I've now run two marathons in this cap and have trained for about four months wearing it on pretty much every run. I've really grown to like it now and one thing I noticed that I hadn't before is that the peak "channels" the sweat from your head so that it runs off the corner of the peak which keeps you drier. It really is like a second skin now and I sometimes forget I'm wearing it. It also washes really easily and doesn't degrade at all. Highly recommended.

Looked at a tedious number of similar looking hats before choosing this one. It came quickly and packaged well (not OTT like some items). It looks good and doesn't have any annoying large standout logos or branding which deterred me from others. The hat is really light and breathable and both looks and feels good to say its a running cap. I initially got it for running in the rain. Tried it and it was great. It doesn't absorb too much rain so doesn't feel heavy while keeping the rain off your face. Now I wear this on any long run (10k upwards) and it wicks the sweat away so doesn't run down my face. It doesnt feel overly warm, even on those hot summer runs. Highly recomend this hat.

Very lightweight, comfortable, cool (because of the mesh construction), no glare (because of the dark inside of the visor). Also easy to fold when not in use. I don't like wearing caps but I do recognise how good they are (I had a skin cancer scare a couple of years ago just to remind me). I use mine for cricket and walking. When playing cricket I prefer the Trailheads cap to my club cap because: 1) it's lighter and much cooler than the club cap. (2) it's very easy to fold and put in my pocket when I'm bowling or the sun is behind me and I want an unrestricted view and (3) the peak is perforated to allow some light through which I like rather than having a completely dark brim. The same benefits apply when I'm walking around in strong sunlight. Absolutely brilliant. I don't why all caps can't be this practical.

I was hoping this would be cooler than it is. Although the fabric is perforated it doesn't seem to let much air flow through. It could do with some vents to let a breeze through. Also, the peak is perforated, so it probably lets in some unnecessary UV rays. Don't know why you would want a perforated peak other than to save a few micro grams. Ok, the amount of light allowed through is probably minimal but what's the point? On the plus side, it looks really cool, the reflective details are subtle and effective, it sits nicely on the head (close to your head, not high up like a trucker hat) and the branding is not overt. Sizing is fine for my 58cm head. Washes well and dries quickly. Very lightweight. A couple of strategically placed vents would elevate this item to five stars, if combined with a cheaper price (I paid £15). If you don't suffer from overheating like I do, then this may be perfect for you.

I have an average sized head and this fits perfectly. I didn't even have to adjust the strap. I have gone on many runs with this already, and it lets my head breathe (I am a sweater!), whilst protecting me from the sun. It's important to note it does not have the cardboard piece above the shade as most baseball caps do. This aids ventilation and was just what I was looking for. The reflective straps on the front and back are also of high quality, so you will be seen when running in the dark. Very good value for money.

Looks great and feels great. Lightweight and wicking. Have worn on long and short runs and does exactly what I want from a running cap.

Firstly I'm a woman and it fitted me perfectly. I bought it for sighteeing in hot weather and it did the job. Kept the sun off my face and the nice light gauze over the head meant my head didn't get too hot as it does with other baseball caps. It let my head breathe, but kept it cool too. Very pleased with this purchase.

Perfect cap for the hot summer weather. It is super comfortable and you can get a perfect fit with the Velcro tabs at the back of the hat. The airy open weave breathable fabrics keeps my head nice and cool and seems to prevent sunburn with its spf factor. I like the gray color as a match all, go with most anything color. While it is lightweight it feels substantial and sturdy. The hat folds small enough to fit in my waist band if needed,but is so functional it usually just stays on my head. It’s a good value for a well made summer cap.

Cappello di grande qualità con materiali e fattura di qualità, fresco e leggerissimo, ma solido e resistente allo stesso tempo. il tessuto forellinato lo rende molto traspirante (potrebbe comunque passare un po di sole, rischiando di ustionare i calvi nelle giornate molto soleggiate). Anche la visiera è leggermente forellinata e traspare un po di luce (questo effetto mi piace). Taglia unica ma molto generosa (potrebbe coprire un po' le orecchie, ma si risolve stringendo il laccetto posteriore). Il colore arancione risulta molto ben visibile, oltre al fatto che il laccetto posteriore è catarinfrangente. Vedremo come si comporta nel tempo, terrò d'occhio il tessuto forellinato che, essendo fine, è la parte più a rischio. Per il momento questo cappello è da me SUPERCONSIGLIATO

Convinto dalla descrizione e corrispondente alle attese. Buona calzabilità e protezione. Traspirante. Facilmente lavabile, si asciuga in fretta.

Great cap that adjusts well to my head. Love the dark part that cuts sun reflections! It breathes very well and handles delicate wash to come out just like new. The material is quite light and never feels like it brushes against my head. If you found my review helpful, please select yes.
