First: more and more things we get on Amazon are substandard. frankly?... junk. it's sad. but I've had to return a lot of things... but these mats are wonderful. thick. strong. hold in place on counters. I am protecting my new countertop surfaces... so this is so well worth it. it even takes hot pans, (up to a point) - and oh, it wipes so easily. I prepare food on it. and be sure to use a cutting board for things you will cut. but spills, stains, easily wiped off. I have a concrete counter (my son thought it was a cool thing to try, however no matter how much sealing he put on it, tends to stain). oh well. but still these matts are inexpensive but do a great job to protect surfaces - I have one under my ninja grill that gets pretty hot beneath itself. so on this silicone surface? safe usage, easy to clean up any fat spills (sometimes as you take food off the grill you will get spatters and spills. a simple swipe of a hot rag...and swoosh. all gone. I am thinking to buy one more so all my surfaces will be safe! finally a quality item bought on Amazon!

I needed a 24"x24" silicone mat but could not find that size so I decided to buy a larger one, this 24"x48" size. I got it in, trimmed, and on the counter today and it is PERFECT! It cut perfectly with my kitchen scissors and I have the extra piece to use in another spot. It came rolled up and it laid out almost flat right from the box. I reverse rolled it and put it back in the box for 24 hours and then I laid out and it is completely flat. It has no odor and it does not slip on the counter. I love the translucent white. Look! You can barely even see it! 😍 For real, sometimes it is the little things, like a perfect translucent white silicone counter protector, that make my week.

I love this mat. It works well, is heat resistant and great value for the money. It’s the perfect size to go on your kitchen counter and protect your marble, granite, or quartz from scratch scratches when you use steam trays for a buffet. I have used it multiple times already and I love it. It rolls up nicely so it’s easy to store.

We have white quartz counters & I wanted something that could stay out to protect the counters without ruining the look of clean counters. This is the answer! No more shuffling trays or placemats around. I’m in a rental and the white countertops are older and show every mark and are hard to clean. I placed this mat over the primary work area and it’s really easy to clean. It looks very neutral and I’m very happy with it for 5+ months now.

I'm using this to cover my workbench surface when I have a lot of glue-up work to do. Its a bit thinner than what a workshop might call for but I'm careful moving things around on it to prevent tears. I bought it primarily for the size and price which were a very good value. It executes its primary function very well, which is preventing glue from sticking to my workbench when assembling large, multi - piece furniture items where working quickly is necessary. Dust sticks to it and isn't easy to get off but again, that's a problem specific to my purpose and not as much of an issue if used in a kitchen. Being thin, it rolls up easily into a small tube for easy storage when not needed.

This was exactly what I was looking for a non toxic way to protect my counters. The marble veining shows through (albeit in a frosted sort of way). It's extra long. I leave it on and don't worry about my kids cooking on it. No longer do I freak out if a splatter of tomato sauce or an errant squeeze of lemon shoots across the counter! I only wish they made these in a 10' roll so I could cut to size, would be useful for inside drawers as well. Note, this is just for protection and not for cutting on. Bonus, mat sticks to counters and does not move at all.
