I've been using this camera for several months now.Essentially no time to set up. You attach it to the wall, it starts charging and if you already have the base, then it takes just a few minutes to link it to the base.I ended up attaching it to the gutter because I didn't want to drill any holes. I already had 2 other aosu cameras for the front of the house and put this one on the corner to take advantage of 360 capability.You do have to buy a memory card separately or sign up for cloud storage. I opted for the memory card. This way it's no monthly payments.You can talk through the camera, it tracks motion pretty well, has a fixed angle where it would start scanning and track movement (it does not just rotate non stop).Great product overall, would buy again.

Let me start off by saying that after about 3 months, our camera failed to stay connected to wifi and a full battery would discharge in about 48hrs. Several months after the Amazon return window had closed, I reached out to Aosu customer support via their website. Within 2 days, I had a replacement camera arrive at my door. No hassle, no return labels, just a company that takes care of their customers.I spent a long time researching all sorts of security cameras for our new home, and eventually landed on Aosu because of both their features and their wonderful customer reviews. I am certainly not disappointed, and we have 3 cameras that cover pretty much all areas of our home exterior. The cameras are responsive and customizable, which is great because different areas of your home have different security needs. The cameras distinguish between a vehicle pulling into my driveway or a person walking up to deliver a package, which I didn't realize would be such a useful and helpful feature when looking at notifications. The picture quality is great, even though the camera is not near a router. Several of our friends have purchased Aosu cameras by our recommendation, and they love them just as much. If you're torn between these cameras and another brand like Eufy, Blink or Ring, all I can say is don't waste your time with them and give Aosu a try.

Below is a copy of the review I sent to the manufacture just after installation. This review is after 4 days of operation and the motion detection sensitivity is excellent and the low light video is great. It effortlessly moves its full range of camera angle and is a smooth rolling video with no jerky frames. My WiFi for one of the cameras is the farthest distance from my WiFi and connects and stays connected great. I have had 3 out of 4 rainy days and the solar power remains above 95%. I never have to touch it except to remove the storage card if needed. Very satisfied so far!Here is the review I sent to AOSUI believe when you are very happy with a product, you should communicate that satisfaction in the same manner as if you are not happy with a product. Which either way in my opinion, is beneficial to the company as well as future customers. As a senior citizen I need things to not require a lot of tech abilities and know how. Setting up these cameras, (I bought two) from unboxing to on the sides of my house took one hour. The App is simple to use and the instructions included how to install the memory card and the location of reset/power buttons, are shown with a picture. The operation is easy as they are solar powered and the security effective for a very reasonable price.

Cameras seem to be decent. Picture is clear. Disappointed at the lack of an iPad app since I use my iPad daily. I will give 5 stars when they develop an iPad app. Seems like a no brainer to me.After 1 week of use: I have 4 of these on my home. 3 of them work great, but one is a dud. It indicates that it is charging on the app but the percentage never moves. I've spoke with Aosu support and they've pulled the data on the camera and it appears the camera is picking up constant false movements from leaves etc. They also say the solar panel is under performing. I have been back and forth with them for 24 hours now and I still don't have an answer on whether they will replace it. I also don't know how I will remove the camera from the wall because it doesn't appear that you can remove it from its mounting plate once you snap it on there. Starting to wonder if it was a good purchase. I will update again once I get an answer from Aosu.

I’ve had a camera flawlessly working since November 2024 until just the other day it stopped working/rotating. It wouldn’t calibrate or properly rotate or even track motion like it use to. I’ve been back and forth with customer support and they have been great at trying to resolve my issue. Ended up that I need a replacement camera. Sucks but it is what it is. However I do like the night vision it offers and the different types of lighting you can view with. The solar panel makes it super convienent to keep it charged. The app is not the hardest thing to use I found it quite simple. The quality of this camera is 10/10 and the notifications it provides are usually pretty specific.

As you can see from the picture, there is a blink camera above this Aosu solar camera. Which I am hoping this solar camera replaces it. So far so good. The AI tracking is great; although it only tracks humans not vehicles. I was concerned about how good the solar charging would be. I live in Washington state with a lot of overcast days. The Aosu camera still changed to full on overcast day, which was great. I have taken the blink camera down and relocated it. I've only had this Aosu Solar camera for a little over a week now. So we'll see how it goes.Update:This camera works flawlessly. I was concerned that due to my location (Washington State) the Solar Camera would not get enough sunlight or would charge slowly. That has not been an issue. I have not had to pull the camera down once to charge with. I also have not had any software bugs. I will soon add two additional cameras to place on each sides on my home pointed at fence line gates.
