All-In-One at this price? Unbelievable!
I'll be honest: As an audiophile, this thing is borderline insane. High quality parts, low noise and distortion, and it does EVERYTHING. What do I mean by everything? Inputs. You can basically input anything. HDMI Arc, USB, Toslink, even RCA! Easily controlled volume and mute with my TV's remote using HDMI Arc. It has a DAC, and while it's not state of the art, it produces neutral sound with no audible noise or distortion. Amplifier isn't the strongest but more than enough for most bookshelf speakers at 100 watts. If you use a Subwoofer, you'll want to set a high pass filter at which point your bookshelf speakers will have all the power they need without wasting it on sub-bass they're not built for. Ah, but how do I set a low pass? Easy! This baby comes with built in DSP! Not garbage DSP with a bass/treble knob, but fully integrated separate left and right parametric Equalizers and both gain and high pass settings for the subwoofer pre-out! DSP like this normally costs $400 or so on its own, but here we have it built into an All-In-One and it works beautifully. I could gush even more. It weights a decent amount because the power brick is built in, the connectivity is through the roof, it's solid as a rock, the app works without issue and offers tons of other streaming... Yeah, whatever. Just buy it. It's great.

Not disappointed! Love it!
I think all the hype surrounding this device is warranted. About me: I have a home theater system in the basement man cave and a basic soundbar on the family room tv above the fireplace. However, our house is wired for speakers in the family room and living room (my home office). I bought a Wiim mini when it was first released and a fosi/douk amp to power a set of speakers in my office and a switch to also play in the living room. The Wiim mini was quite impressive. It received so many updates and was always rock solid. The app works well, integration with other Android apps - like spotify, tidal, etc. is pretty great. The Douk amp was simply junk and squeals all the time at 10-15khz (like having tinnitus) but I loved the Wiim mini, so I splurged on the Wiim Amp. Same app experience, all of the benefits of the mini but the sound quality, build, and design is so much better than the douk. Plus I never need to go turn on a the amp. Wiim amp sits at a low power state and will auto sense inputs and power on automatically. I'm not an audiophile, just love music. Driving a set of RP500mII bookshelf speakers and a powered subwoofer. To my ears, it sounds as good as my much more expensive receiver. I'm really happy because it's a streamer and an amp at a pretty good price. The Wiim mini will still have have it's place. What I can do is use the Wiim amp and Wiim mini together to easily create 2 zones. I can simply select the room I want the music to play via the app or home automation. Most of the inputs are covered. Hdmi, optical, rca. No coax. One thing I did not realize is that the usb port is NOT for a DAC, so you cannot connect this to a pc or mac via usb and use as a DAC. The usb port is for a usb drive with music/audio files. I already have a desktop dac, so not a big deal. I also have a NAS with my personal music collection and it's easily integrated with the Wiim app. You can also play from a PC to this device via Chromecast. The only real issue I've experienced is playback trouble with Audible. However, there was an update that fixed it. Another shortcoming is that I'd like a line out. You can play through speakers directly connected to the amp or connect to another device, like headphones, via Bluetooth. There is only a subwoofer out. Adjustable crossover makes it really nice to set up. One issue I found is that it does not auto power on my subwoofer. I think because there is no initial "pop" when you power on. Very minor, only applies at low listening volume. With the HDMI input, I can use this with my TV, but it would need to pass through a video signal and have another hdmi port to use with my computer and monitor. It does come with a voice remote that is easy to set up. Adding your 4 favorite stations is critical, then you really won't need to open the app- just power on and start those streams instantly. Overall, I'm really happy and use it daily. My friends ask about it and are generally impressed with the size, build, and sound quality. Great purchase and I'd recommend to anyone who wants a simple streaming setup. Best audio purchase I've made in a long time.

Very good for the price……my story…..
I consider myself to be an audiophile, well at least a reasonable one. Yes I have some expensive equipment but when it came to outfitting my garage, I needed to take a different approach. So I started with the online reviews. The WiiM amp got mixed reviews from the audiophile sect. But wait a minute, this only sets you back $300 not thousands. So shouldn’t it be judged based on its cost benefit? I say yes. Therefore I give this device a full five stars. I think its performance is dam good. Pairing with the right speakers is key. It does many things very well. Great sonics, clarity, adequate power, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, a really good App, and a solid build. Another feature is its remote, and the number of music streams it supports. I think I love this compact amp. So now, what speakers? I chose Polk Atrium 6 and it was a match made in heaven for my two bay garage. Not to say that this amp won’t satisfy the indoor audio needs of most. Be careful in selecting you speakers. Look for a high sensitivity in the speakers performance specifications. You will get the most out of the amps power. So I started this journey today and will update as time goes on. Right now, I give the WiiM amp a high recommendation for its price point. It is musical, compact, well made, ample connectivity, and won’t break the bank.

WiiM Amp Packs a Punch!
BLUF: The WiiM Amp is a great music streamer and two-channel audio amplifier. Get one, you won't regret it. [Update 7/1/24: The WiiM Amplifier (also WiiM Pro Plus and the soon to be released WiiM Ultra Preamplifier) now support WiiM's room correction. (No, the WiiM Mini does not support room correction at this time.) I do not know if the WiiM Pro (non-Plus) music streaming device supports the WiiM room correction. I only own WiiM Amplifier(s), WiiM Pro Plus and WiiM Mini music streaming devices that I purchased on Amazon. If there was still any doubt that the WiiM Amplifier and the other WiiM music streaming products sold on Amazon are the best value in audio (perhaps ever) then the WiiM room correction should convince. The WiiM room correction works with the WiiM Home app and the microphone in your smart phone. In less than a minute the WiiM Home app and supported WiiM streaming device will analyze the in-room frequency response of your speakers including a subwoofer if present in your system. The WiiM room correction creates a custom 10 band parametric equalizer response curve that you can name and save or just use the default name "Auto". The results of using the WiiM room correction with my system(s) have been impressive. LPT: You can temporarily connect a WiiM Pro Plus to any 2 channel or 2.1 channel audio system where you normally have a WiiM Mini. Then perform the WiiM room correction and save the room EQ settings. You can later write down or screenshot the room correction EQ values and manually apply the room EQ settings to the WiiM Mini at a later time. Unless you rearrange your room, change the speakers or your preferred listening position you should not need to re-run the room correction.] Tips: You can set the maximum volume level using the WiiM Home app. Use the WiiM Home app volume slider control or the WiiM Remote to control the volume. When I set the WiiM Amp's maximum volume level to ~80% the acoustic level in my home from various 4 ohm to 8 ohm speakers (ranging from ~82dB to 90dB rated efficiency) gets as loud as I want and can stand. If you are concerned that the WiiM Amp may not have sufficient power for your application then adding a powered subwoofer will make the most of the WiiM Amp's power (60 Watts per channel (WPC) into 8 ohms and 120 WPC into 4 ohms), available for the two main speakers. (I also tested the WiiM Amp's subwoofer output using the new RSL Speedwoofer 10E.) When using a turntable with the WiiM Amp you must use an external phono stage preamp as the WiiM Amp does not have a built-in phono stage. (You may want to use a phono preamp that has selectable gain or continuously variable gain to ensure an acceptable audio level when using the WiiM Amp with the turntable.) The WiiM Amp does not have a headphone output jack. I was able to successfully pair my Bose Quiet Comfort headphones with the WiiM Amp. If you experience poor Wi-Fi reception when using the WiiM Amp try moving the Wiim Amp closer to your router. (I found that rotating the WiiM Amp chassis 90 degrees also helped improve the Wi-Fi connection.) The WiiM Amp also has an Ethernet connection. Using the WiiM Amp it is possible to assemble a very satisfying and enjoyable digital streaming audio system for under $1K (WiiM Amp ($300) + Bookshelf Speakers (up to ~400/pr) + Powered Subwoofer (est. $300). You can add a CD player and/or a turntable if desired. Great: The WiiM Amp is capable of providing deep, well articulated bass. The WiiM Amp has very good dynamics, i.e. punchy even. The sound of the WiiM Amp is neutral. The WiiM Amp provides a wide soundstage. The WiiM Amp's single (mono) RCA subwoofer output connection together with the WiiM Home app's bass management functions makes pairing the WiiM Amp with a powered subwoofer super easy. The WiiM Amp automatically applies low and high pass filters when the subwoofer output is enabled. The WiiM Amp was able to effectively power every 4 to 8 ohm loudspeaker I tried quite well. I even tried driving a pair of Magnepan MG1 magneplanar loudspeakers (82dB efficiency). The WiiM Amp was able to cleanly drive each of these speakers as loud as I desired.) No audible noise or hum in either of my two WiiM Amps (I purchased a Metallic Grey and then purchased a Silver WiiM Amp.) The WiiM Amp runs cool. Even after a few hours of listening at moderately high level output the WiiM Amp chassis was barely warm to the touch. The WiiM Home app has both graphic and parametric equalizer functions. If you spend a little time learning how to master these controls you will probably be able to get the audio balance you desire. Not so great: Shipping Damage: I had purchased my first WiiM Amp, in Metallic Grey, from another online retailer. The package containing the Metallic Grey WiiM Amp was unopened and undamaged as received. I recently purchased the Silver WiiM Amp from Amazon. Although not sold as being refurbished the Silver WiiM Amp included the WiiM manufacturer's ten percent discount. One corner of the box for the Silver WiiM Amp arrived dented. The box also appeared to have been opened. However, all cables, booklet, remote and accessories were provided. The Silver WiiM Amp unit came wrapped in the factory plastic protective layer and appeared new and undamaged. Wi-Fi Performance: 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi reception is just OK, could be better. (This makes me wonder where WiiM located the internal Wi-Fi antenna in the WiiM Amp as the top and 3 sides of the WiiM Amp's case are made of an aluminum alloy.) I can't comment on 5GHz Wi-Fi performance. When I moved the WiiM Amp to another room in my home (further away from the router) the WiiM Amp would sometimes stutter or mute the audio. Rotating the WiiM Amp by 90 degrees (so that the rear of the WiiM Amp was now facing the router) seemed to improve the Wi-Fi reception. WiiM Amp Audio Performance: After auditioning the WiiM Amp with four different sets of wired speakers I found that the WiiM Amp does not provide as sharp and detailed imaging as do some other amplifiers I own. With each of the loudspeakers I tried (4 ohm, 5 ohm, 8 ohm; 2-way, 3-way, 2-way planar magnetic) the WiiM Amp's imaging lacked focus. Still, this did not take away from my enjoyment when listening to favorite selections using the WiiM Amp. Lagged WiiM Home phone app Performance: The WiiM Home phone app is sometimes lagged, i.e. when accessing the Audio Setting of the WiiM Amp. (I'm not sure if this is an app software issue or related to the limitations of the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi performance.) Lagged Remote Control Response: The WiiM Remote Control uses Bluetooth. The WiiM remote control of the WiiM Amp volume, etc. is sometimes lagged. USB Confusion: The WiiM Home App recognized the thumb drive (containing some MP3 files) that I inserted into the WiiM Amp's USB port. I was able to play the MP3 files using the WiiM Amp by selecting USB as the source. I next tried adding additional files, both MP3 and MP4 format files to the thumb drive. The WiiM Amp and/or WiiM Home app never properly updated the thumb drive file cache and never displayed an updated playlist. WiiM Amp Remote batteries: The batteries (two AAA) are not included with the WiiM Amp. (Neither of the two WiiM Amps that I've recently purchased came with the needed batteries for the remote control.) [Update 6/3/24] I purchased a WiiM Mini to solve an issue I was having with the WiiM Amplifier. The WiiM Amp is a brilliant product in almost every respect. One notable exception is Wi-Fi connectivity. In my home the WiiM Amp only has acceptable Wi-Fi connectivity when the WiiM Amp is placed close, i.e. within the same room as my wireless router. To solve this issue, I use the WiiM Mini as a Wi-Fi music streamer. I connect the WiiM Mini to the WiiM Amp via the optical cable and this gets around my WiiM Amp Wi-Fi performance issues. (The optical connection is 24 bit, 192 kbps.) I stream Spotify Premium exclusively, I can't hear any difference when using the WiiM Amp with Wi-FI (placed close to the W-Fi router) or when using the WiiM Mini and the optical output from the WiiM Mini to the optical input of the WiiM Amp. Now I can locate WiiM Amps in different rooms in my home and not have Wi-Fi connectivity issues. This works for me. Maybe this solution will work for you if you are having WiiM Amp Wi-Fi issues.

Budget King
I recently had the opportunity to explore the WiiM amp, and I must say, the experience has been overwhelmingly positive. The setup process was a breeze, taking no more than five minutes to get everything up and running. What sets this amp apart is its in-depth app, which offers extensive control over various aspects of the device, making it a delight for tech enthusiasts. Sound Quality: The sound quality of the WiiM amp is impressive. Paired with my KEF Q150s, the audio imaging is remarkable, delivering a rich and immersive listening experience. The clarity and depth of the sound are noteworthy, especially considering the price point. Features: One of the highlights of the WiiM amp is its feature-rich app. It's packed with numerous settings that allow for fine-tuning to one's preferences. As a programmer, I find the addition of an API particularly appealing, opening up possibilities for customizations and integrations, which is a rare find in audio equipment. Customer Support: The customer support from WiiM is exceptionally responsive. It's reassuring to know that any queries or issues will be promptly and efficiently addressed, adding an extra layer of confidence in the product. Design and Build: The design and build quality of the WiiM amp are top-notch, especially for a device priced at $300. It sports a sleek and modern aesthetic that doesn't just look good but also feels premium, adding a touch of elegance to my setup. Value for Money: In terms of value, the WiiM amp hits the sweet spot. It delivers excellent sound quality and a host of features that are usually found in higher-priced models. The versatility and functionality offered by the app justify the price, making it a smart investment for anyone looking for quality audio without breaking the bank. Recommendation: For anyone considering a mid-tier or a PC 2.1 system, I wholeheartedly recommend the WiiM amp. Its combination of sound quality, features, responsive customer support, and price makes it an excellent choice for both casual listeners and audio enthusiasts. Whether you're upgrading your current setup or building a new one, the WiiM amp is definitely worth considering.

Outstanding Budget Amp and Streamer!
I have been looking for a cost effective streamer to use with my Mac Mini as a desktop system. I have read and watched many reviews on the various Wiim products and virtually all of them were excellent. I decided to purchase the Wiim amp on Amazon Prime day when it was on sale for $240. I couldn't be happier if I tried! First of all, my 97gb of FLAC files are readily available via a USB drive plugged into the rear of the Wiim. They all display properly on the Wiim app on my One Plus Open phone. There is only a minor delay from when I select a song to when it begins playing. This works as well as my Blue Sound Node streamer that is hooked up to my main stereo....at less than half the cost. It also streams great from Spotify, Amazon Music and other apps with no glitches whatsoever, another plus. Using my iPhone I am also able to enable room correction to tune the sound to the room. I only with that this feature worked with Android as well but it doesn't, at least for now. The difference in sound is subtle using room correction but it is pleasant. There is also a parametric equalizer that can be used if desired. The room correction is a feature that many streamers costing two to three times as much don't include! I am currently using a pair of Mirage Nanosat speakers on my desktop and they sound great with the exception of so-so bass. However, I will soon be purchasing a powered subwoofer to correct that issue. Fortunately, the Wiim amp includes a dedicated subwoofer input which is also unexpected considering the price of the amp. The 60 watts per channel is more than sufficient for a nearfield desktop system and I'm confident the sound would be fine in a medium sized room in non-nearfield conditions. Finally, I would be remiss if I did not comment on the excellent build quality of the Wiim Amp. It is at least as sturdily constructed am the Mac Mini that sits under it. It is almost a perfect match in size and color to the Mac Mini...very pleasing! Oh, I almost forgot, the included remote control allows for the operation of basic functions without the need of picking up the cell phone and using the Wiim App. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to build a low cost or starter stereo system or someone who (like me) wants a secondary desktop system. It is a bargain at its full price and a killer deal when on sale!

Easy install, well worth it
Worked perfectly with my outdoor speaker wirelessly. Total game changer in my mind. Setup was straightforward, and it connected without any issues. The sound quality is great, and being able to stream music easily from different services makes it really convenient. I like the flexibility with voice control and multiple streaming options. It’s a solid piece of equipment that makes upgrading your audio setup simple. Overall, highly recommend if you want an easy way to power and stream to your speakers.

Second Wiim product. I’m all in!
I started with the Wiim Mini, and liked it so much I decided to move up to this amp and purchase some passive bookshelf speakers to use with it. If you already own a Wiim product, you know that the app is an outstanding experience. That was one of the main reasons I wanted to stay in this ecosystem and buy from Wiim. This amp easily drives my new Micca bookshelf speakers that are 100W and 8 ohm. They sound great and because of the Wiim amp I even have additional control over how they sound. I like that this amp has a small footprint so it doesn’t take up much space, and even the LED light on the front panel is adjustable through the app. Considering some of the other amps I was looking at, this is a great value for the price. It’s a bonus that I can control it from any room in the house, and from multiple mobile devices. I also like the remote that it came with, but I don’t find myself using that much.

Versatile Little Amp!
This little amplifier is "little" only in its Form Factor and has no business sounding so good being a Class D Power Amplifier. Has plenty of input possibilities and drives some large speakers without a hint of stress. The accompanying software (WiiM Home) is very user-friendly and quite powerful and most importantly for such devices it really works!! In the limited time that I have used it, I have discovered no bugs. Great value for the money!!

Great price for an excellent streaming amp
I have this streaming amp powering a pair of Q Acoustics 3050i floor standing speakers. They sound great. I'm very impressed with the internal DAC, the Wiim app and the streamer.
