U-Create Bright Colors Premium Art Paper, 12" x 9", 50 Sheets, Assorted Bright Colors, 65 lbs (95663)

This is a light weight card stock that is easy to work with. My paper punches go through this easily, as do scissors and paper cutters. It folds easily, and holds a sharp crease. For reference, regular copy paper is 20lb, and card stock is anywhere from 50lb to 110lbs; this particular card stock is 65lbs.This paper is 9X12", which is just a bit larger than standard copy paper. It goes through my printer without any issues.There are two down sides to this paper, which is why I’ve deducted 2 stars. The paper does not work well with Elmer’s glue (or any ‘wet’ glue); the paper curls up. It does not have this issue with glue dots. Also, I think the paper is dyed (or something to that effect). Some pieces look a little streaky if you look at them up close, and if you punch out the paper, the edges are white.This is good paper for basic crafting, arts & crafts, etc.

This set contains 50 sheets of 9" x 12" heavy (65 lbs.) cardstock-quality construction paper. There are five bright colors: medium-dark blue, orange, yellow, green and red-orange. According to the description on the product page here the colors are *pink*, blue, yellow, green and orange. I guess this means either that I have a slight problem with color identification or that there are two different assortments of colored paper. But whether you receive a set that contains 10 red-orange or 10 pink, the color selections are all good.The paper, to my un-artistic eyes, looks to be of good quality. It's easy to cut and create designs. Gluing can be an issue, depending on what you're trying to create when joining two pieces of paper. If you want one piece to lie completely flat on the other, you may have to (a) make sure the top piece is completely covered with glue, and (b) perhaps lay something heavy (a book, maybe) on top while it dries.The back of the box gives you ideas on creating flowers and making curlicues to get you started using this paper, but, of course, the sky's the limit for creative people.

My nieces and nephew are crazy for this stuff. We draw on it, cut it out and tape decorations, make paper airplanes with it. (It doesn't make great airplanes but it's construction paper - whaddya want?!?). But yes this is indispensable in this house. If we don't know what to do with the kids, we break this out with some markers and they are quiet for like an hour or so. Actually want to know what I do with this stuff? I take old board games - like ones I buy at garage sales - tape like yellow construction paper over the boards, cut up other colors for "cards" and invent my own board game. The kids love it - about age 6 they can kind of make their own game. It's super awesome! Try it!

The UCreate premium neon construction paper was a big hit with my daughter. She loves the bright vibrant neon colors. This pack includes the colors pink, blue, yellow, green and orange. The paper is thick enough that she can color with marker or pen and it won’t bleed through or show through the other side. The paper is somewhat slick and did not do well when she tried to paint with water colors as the water somewhat beaded up and ran off a bit. The paper is thicker than other construction paper we have, I would say it’s more similar to card stock. It cuts easily and glue sticks work well in it. Perfect for coloring with crayons, markers and crafting.

The sheets are 9" by 12" and comes with 50 sheets. The colors are super bright but the weight of the paper seemed not too thick for me. It does come in a nice packaging with cardboard backing so that it doesn't get damaged. There are 5 colors as shown in the photo and is accurate representation. Made in India.

This is not your standard construction paper. This is more like cardstock. This is the stuff you need to make standing projects and small posters. We save these for special occasions and use the regular construction paper for general play. My girls made a thankful tree for Mother's Day where they had to build a small tree that could stand up on it's own. These sheets were perfect for that. They then used the thinner paper to write reasons they are thankful for their mom (me) and filled out the tree. I thought it was just the cutest thing! Ours stood up better than the other kids ones at preschool because of this paper. The package re-seals as well, so you don't have to worry about the whole thing falling apart when you open it. Wonderful paper, but just remember it is more like cardstock. If you are using it for younger kids you will need to help them cut this stuff.

These are quite excellent papers, they are heavy stock and do not bend easily. For our first project we used them to make some highly visible flags and they were excellent for the task, remaining stiff after being attached to the thin flagpoles we were using.The package is resealable via a flap in the top, which keeps the bright colors from getting dusty or dirty as they might if they were only shrink-wrapped as some products are. Well protected, and arrived in great condition with no corners dented.Overall extremely pleased these made my project look fabulous.

My son is finally at the age where he is able to really experiment with his art so we've loved using this paper. He tends, with supervision, cut out shapes and glue them on another page. It's fun to be able to use this paper as it has a strong feel to it, the colors are vibrant, and there are plenty of sheets to fall back on if he makes a mistake.We'll be ordering more of this paper for future projects once our supply dwindles. Really like it and have no complaints about its quality.
