Perfect for morning coffee

I purchased this for a friend and while brewing the first cup of coffee, the machine gave off a burning plastic smell. She assumed that was normal and brewed a 2nd cup of coffee that afternoon. Both cups were rich and flavorful, no complaints. The following morning though, the machine wouldn't operate and the lights flashed on it.We tried contacting customer service five days ago and haven't heard back, so we've requested a refund. I know this item has good reviews so I didn't think twice to order it, but looking back I now see several one-star reviews exactly as mine. Maybe a handful of these have faulty motherboards or circuitry? I'm not sure but I wouldn't trust a replacement.I had this shipped overseas so returning and replacing is a big process- I really wish customer service could have responded.

Great little coffee pod and brew maker takes all pods

I was initially confused setting it up, but then I figured out. It's a good product.

Do you like coffee grounds in your coffee mug in the morning? Neither do I. When I put kcups in and brew I get to drink some grounds too. The power button doesn't want to work sometimes. I am one handed and getting the kcup out of its basket is difficult after brewing. So I spill even more grounds. It takes around 5 minutes to brew a cup of coffee. The brew is too strong using kcups.I like the brew size options. I have different size mugs so it works great for that. I like all of the little basket options. I like the size of the machine. I hope you like strong coffee because this has a very strong brew. Even when brewing 14 oz. I love that it has a clean function.I am returning this reluctantly. I can't handle drinking coffee grounds.

The media could not be loaded. Update: 8 months of use: The top does pop off when using the coffee ground container provided. This latest time, we closed the lid, then pressed brew again and my hubby pressed down on the lid. He said it kept trying to open. Then it just shut off with water still in the top with the coffee grinds. I would not recommend this product unless you can get an extended warranty up to at least a year. Not too many problems in the first month of use. I want you to know the top does not come open when using K-cups. But my hubby prefers ground coffee.I am enjoying this. Others have stated it is noisy. It is not so bad. My other coffee maker used to beep 3 times when it was done. That was annoying and loud. When you have shorter cup it does splash a little. But nothing bad that I would take a star away. The one thing that made me take a star away was that 3 times the lid has popped open while brewing. I use coffee grounds in it and make sure to not fill it passed the max line. The last time I just pushed the lid back down. But I did get grounds in my coffee cup.

I can't believe it only takes 1-2 minutes to make a really hot coffee! Makes every morning just a whole lot better! If you work and are always rushing to get a coffee on the way just get one of these and it'll save you a lot of headaches! Definitely recommend and will buy some for gifts!

The Kidisle coffee maker worked okay (just okay) for a little while. It was difficult to get the buttons to work, but I could live with that. I did appreciate that it came with several ground coffee pods, which have been quite handy. However, it is now making a horrendous noise while brewing that makes me think it's going to explode at any moment, and now I have to buy yet another coffee maker. I most definitely DO NOT recommend this product!
