I want to mention, right from the start that I am a big outdoor and camping enthusiast and I have owned hammocks pretty much all my life. I wouldn’t call myself an expert, but I know a lot when it comes to hammocks. I have to say that I have honestly not seen a hammock that can compare with this one. You can tell if a hammock is of a high quality simply by looking at the material. And this one is so much better than expected. It is actually the same fabric used in making parachutes! I really think that’s amazing! I was super impressed to see the strong stitching. This is another detail you don’t get to notice very often! I am beyond excited!

I went on a summer solstice camping trip with my best friend. Neither of us had ever set up a hammock before, but luckily that wasn’t necessary because this was the easiest and fastest hammock to set up. We were hanging out in it within minutes while neighboring campsites struggled and fell to the ground attempting to set up whatever inferior hammock they had purchased. My best friend and I fell asleep in this hammock after a long moonlit walk through the woods. It was super comfy! Even better was when the bear came into our campsite to snack on spilled popcorn and marshmallows, so my bestie and I popped our heads out of the hammock like some two headed creature, scaring the bear back into the woods. We couldn’t have done THAT in a tent! Overall I’m super happy with this brand. The packability of this hammock made take down incredibly swift. So far, I’ve only used it three times, but it remains durable and comfy. This is the first hammock I’ve owned so I have nothing to compare it to, but I do know that I didn’t have to struggle to set this thing up and fall on my bottom like a lot of other campers I saw. Huge plus when I can look like a pro instead of my usual awkward self. XD

This product is very sturdy, comfortable, and easy to use, but it IS NOT a double. I have quite a few double hammocks, but this one is quite a bit smaller. For instance when I go camping I put a (pretty small) pad in the bottom to help keep the cold out, in the double hammocks I can still quite easily close the hammock when I am in it. With this hammock I can barely fit the pad in let alone close it at all. Another example I will use is that my boyfriend and I went hammocking and we could barely fit in the hammock, whereas we could easily fit in any of my other hammocks.So I gave it a 3-star review in that it is very sturdy, comfortable for a SINGLE person, and easy to use, I would not recommend this if you are looking for a big hammock and for 2 people to use.

The hammock is very big which I like it very much. It’s very easy to installing on a tree. When I saw the hammock for the first time, I thought that its material was very thin like the fabric of a tent, which is the material of the hammock, but it held my husband and I understand that it is strong enough to hold my husband. So I think I'll have a hammock for a good and long time. And it is used in multiple uses, which I really liked. It also comes in its own carry bag and carries a small flashlight as a keychain. I'm really enjoying it.

Best Hammock, ever. If you don't have one, you don't have a durable quality multi-use hammock. This hammock does it all. Beach blanket, shelter, tent fly, tarp, and hammock. Easy to set up, comes with everything you'll need (disclaimer some terrain you may need sturdier stakes) These carabiner's it comes with are solid, you will never buy a hammock with quality carabiners like this. The tree straps are also, solid. So is the rope and it comes with plenty that you'll need, and this puppy is ultra light weight. I do take it on every hike and camping and keep it in my Subaru. As for the extras, pretty sweet. Stories, ideas, games, and places to check out across the lower 48. I do wish there was a link to look into more than the places they provide to go visit. Lastly it comes with an item I have many of made by another company. Its basically a Buff, and Buff's are awesome! There are endless ways to wear a Buff. Now what they send is not a buff, but its just like it, and so that is how I will describe it. End of the day, I would most definitely purchase another of these by Lazy Monk, and your should too!

It appears to be great quality, but I don't know. There are no instructions on how to thread the rope through the tree straps and knot it and I am a beginner and need that step. Vi was under the impression it would ready to be setup and it would be simple. This is not the case. I bought 2 of these too because I have kids that was to use them. If I can't find instructions online I'll likely be returning them.

My family lives for the outdoors and we just tried it out this weekend and we LOVE it! Both set up and take down are so simple. The company truly pays attention to quality & detail which I appreciate. Once purchased, they emailed a detailed PDF to describe the product's different uses as well as a short video that demonstrates the simple - yet secure - set up for the hammock. Each member of my family was able to comfortably nap in the hammock and it can definitely hold up the amount of weight it claims to. Packing it away was also very quick (took me about 20 seconds to neatly fold it and store it into the bag). It will be really easy to clean. All around, great product! WELL worth the $ for quality, convenience, comfort, customer service, and company's attention to significant details. THANK YOU Lazy Monk!

Bought this awhile ago for my husband, who never used it; so when I found it today (unopened) I thought since it was so nice I’d set it up and relax in the back yard.THE PRODUCT DID NOT WORK! It ripped and broke the second I leaned on it..hadn’t even got in yet. I’m not a big girl, so I’m glad my husband didn’t have to rely on this for his trip because he would’ve been sleeping on the ground (which is where my head went😤🤬).I’m very disappointed and have a headache to boot.
