I'm not a tattoo artist but I regularly use inks dispersed in various mediums . I was interested in what it was chemically ; the product page and the product page of similar product didn't list the ingredients . Fortunately the label does , photo attached . After reading the ingredients I figured it would perform well as a reducer for brush painting solvent compatible acrylics and inks in said acrylic mediums . It did not disappoint . The first thing I did was pour a small amount into a shallow container to assess the evaporation rate . It required over 24 hours @ 78 degrees , 55-60% humidity to reduce down to the bulk of the glycerin content , so it has a fair amount of glycerin . Maybe 15% , but that guess may be off . Hard to guesstimate by eye stuff like that . The polyethylene glycol definitely assists in a very homogenous dispersion of pigment . Legit product .

This shading solution is really good! It mixes up nicely, has the ratio listed, and it shades flawlessly. I've used this to shade with black ink and colorful ink as well. It blends with my ink nicely and comes out smoothly. I like the size of the bottle and it doesn't take much at all to create the perfect shading mix. It's definitely worth buying. I love it and will keep this in our tattoo kits from now on.

I'm still a beginner and learning and have been playing around with this the last few times during practice and this helps tremendously! I'm able to play around and really learn how many drops it takes to get the shades I need and want! Really easy to control flow of drops and helps simplify things for a still beginner. This has produced some very nice shading and I can't wait to try it out on my first real tattoo when the time comes!
