As described
Works great! I use it in the airport or coffee shops. People like to peek, you know. Does darken the screen but I think all privacy screens do that. The adhesion strips have surprisingly held up, though I was skeptical when I first saw them. They are well made. The screen looked too long when I unwrapped it but it fits perfectly--funny how the optical illusion of laptop screens is that they are more square than they really are. Only thing is between the adhesion strips and the screen (and my keyboard protector), my laptop is running out of space to close all the way shut. Doesn't seem to bother the computer or me, and this is not due to a design flaw but rather intrinsic to privacy screens, but worth mentioning if that's going to be an issue for you. I have an HP Pavilion.

It works perfectly
The media could not be loaded. I like that it really works in terms of giving privacy. It is easy to assemble and once you fix it with the adhesive that comes with the product, it won't slip off the screen.

Not bad, needs improvement
Cons:The screen comes with a several1/2 inch “glue dot” style adhesives that you must use at each corner of the screen. This is NOT like a phone screen that is adhesive Entirely on one side just in case anyone was wondering.Unfortunately because it’s not entirely sealed, dust has wedged itself between my screen and the privacy screen and it is driving me CRAZY. I will likely end up taking it off and it’ll get ruined. Bummer bc the privacy screen itself does do a pretty good job for its intended purpose. The application style just sucks. It took forever to get the privacy screen clean enough to apply because it’s a magnet for finger prints and dust/lint during application. Also when the screen is on I can see all the glue strips holding the panel to the screen it looks ugly.Pros:The privacy feature works pretty well. Not extravagant but good enough to feel comfortable working in public settings. The package came with extra glue strips for back up and some screen protector materials like tape and a cleaning cloth (the cloth sucks, super small and linty)My suggestion:they should make this product have the entire perimeter pre-glued for a quick peel and stick application that actually seals all the edges to the screen and avoid dust getting stuck behind the privacy screen panel.

Not as described
I bought this, particularly for the removal and insert needs. And this product described that you can use it either as a permanent privacy screen (PS) with a double sided tape or the insert and remove adhesives. The tabs that are supposed to hold the PS on are EXTREMELY weak & wouldn’t hold it in my laptop screen; you couldn’t even slide the product in smoothly And by trying to get it in the tabs, that were supposed to be on the screen for insertion and removal, were not strong and continually came off. I ended up just using the double sticky sided tape. I don’t like using the permanent PS, because at times, I like to look at my screen in private, w/out a PS where I can see the colors bright and vivid (we’re looking at pictures or watching a video), and using the PS does not allow this. It’s great for privacy, but not editing photos or watching videos. If you’re looking for the feature, I was looking for, as this product described, do yourself a favor, even though the price is low, it’s still won’t meet your needs! I hope this consumer feedback of this product I have purchased is helpful for others to not be disappointed for purchasing this product and having high hopes. Sometimes you do get what you pay for! I would’ve added a video, but I ended up throwing all the sticky tabs away out of frustration and time already wasted. For now I just have it stuck on my laptop permanently … and I’m not a happy camper!

Doesn't serve its purpose
This fit my HP Elitebook just right. The adhesive mechanics is a bit 1980s, but it is sufficient.Disappointed with the reflection/glare. The reflection is significant compared to without the screen protector.I don't care much about the protection, but more about privacy.Disappointed with the privacy "capability" of this. I can still seem my screen content when I am to the left or right of my screen...it's diminished, but still visible. Someone sitting next to me on a plane could still read my screen.

For the perfectionists out there, stick to the removable option.
I started with the double sided tape option first so I could fall back on the removable option if need be. I put the entire piece of tape on the screen and it's noticeable. I realized I could have used less since I put 6 pieces all around the screen. Am I gonna go through the hassel of replacing it with the removable option? No! The adhesive is sufficient. The screen wont be coming off on its own unless the screen overheats in the Namib sun.. For the perfectionists out there, stick to the removable option.
