These are my first moisturizing socks. I'm giving 5 stars because while they lasted they worked great. At $15 for 2 pairs, I'm going to try & find some cheaper ones, and see if they work just as good as these. I will say because there were no cleaning instructions, I did put in the washing machine and dryer on regular, not gentle cycle, and high heat. The jelly heel part of the sock are no longer doing much softening because of how I washed them, I'm almost 100% of this. If my hunt for cheaper socks, that work just as well as these is unsuccessful, I will revise this review. MIRACLES! This is how my journey started. I did some research online because I was absolutely fed up with the constant scrubbing of my heels, wasting my time, getting no result. They were still ugly, and also still painful. So after researching this is what I found: 1. I stopped using products on my feet that I shouldn't be. UREA IS A NO NO! I cut out Okeefes Healthy feet from my daily regimen. Why? Because of course it has UREA in it. Why wouldn't it have something in it that is bad for your feet, right? BYE BYE OKEEFES 2. Use Petroleum Jelly! Enter my new product, which is working wonders, I might add, Palmer's Foot Magic Cocoa Butter Moisturizing Foot Cream. I put this on while sitting at my desk at work 3. THESE SOCKS! As well as wearing these socks every night to bed, because it comes with 2 pairs, I use the second pair in the livingroom and add some Palmers Foot Magic Cocoa Butter Stick Intensive Heel Repair to my heels and then put on the socks while I'm watching TV. UPDATE ON THE SEARCH FOR CHEAPER SOCKS*******UNSUCCESSFUL! I purchased The Foot Medic Moisturizing Heel Socks at $4.99, and I returned them. The padding on the heel was extremely thin. So for $2.50 more a pair, I'm coming back to these and will hand wash only. On The Foot Medic socks, they did include instructions which said, do not put in washing machine and only hand wash with a small amount of soap. This will be my cleaning method going forward. I wanted to put a side note, because my 1st order was for the nude color (shea butter). This is totally my fault, I was trying to save money and didn't realize that the different colors had different softening agents. I purchased the grey and they don't work near as well as the nude color. Then I happened to notice, today, that they are made with something different. Go for the nude, they are awesome! Good luck!

I wore these for three nights with some added ointment inside It worked very well for healing the cracks on my heels I’ve only used these stocks once but they seem like they are very good quality

UPDATE: seller reached out to work on a resolution, offered a replacement with a different item or a refund for the order. Great customer service and care for customer’s satisfaction. I will consider trying their other products in the future. Uncomfortable and it doesn’t work as expected. It makes heels feel nice and smooth while using it, but very uncomfortable to walk with it since it is half way under your foot bridge. I wanted to love it, but not my favorite solution for dry heels, used it for many nights, but dryness returns within two days without using it.

I bought these to wear with my orthopedic sandals, but found they rolled up into the arch of my foot a bit, and I was constantly readjusting them. The color, weight, washability, and fit were all fine, just that I was spending a lot of time tugging down the arch and up the leg. I am still wearing them, because despite the issues (which I expected with a toeless sock) they still work pretty well.

I wear sandals every day in between the snow season. For years, I have had to use a pumice stone on my very dry heels. Before trying these, I had a very deep cut, or break in my heel. An effort to try to find relief I searched for heel socks. I was just expecting socks that I could wear over lotion I put on my feet when I go to bed. These are awesome! You almost feel like you’re walking on pillows when you walk with these on your feet. I will definitely buy more. And I don’t feel like I am sleeping with socks on when I wear them to bed.

Finally found something that helped me. My heel was so dry, cracked and painful, to walk on. I tried, moisturizing boots, peelable boots, nothing helped. I finally received these and couldn't wait to try out, I put one on, instant comfort to walk on, so soft, wore all day and couldn't be more pleased. It took about 3 -4 days for my heel to heal. When I first looked at them I didn't think they would work, felt no moisturizers in them, like magic, worked for me. Thank you for such a fine product!

I was looking up foot creams and these heel socks popped up and I am so glad they did!!! I was having trouble walking because it was so painful with my heels having deep cracks. I have tried the foot files, the pumice stones, the metal file. None worked for long. I love being barefoot and wearing sandals whenever possible so my feet dry out. These socks eased the pain of the deep cracks overnight. The gel softened the very dry skin that makes the deep cracks so painful. I filed down the dead skin after but I no longer have to worry about the painful deep cracks because I sleep with the gel socks on my heels. Normally I cannot sleep with socks on because I get hot too easily, but because these go over the heal not the toes I do not have a problem sleeping with them on. The gel does feel a little weird when walking on it but I don't care, its totally worth it.
