Elegant, Simple, Effective
This is an excellent product. At its lofty price-point, I expected much. And the BenQ Desk Lamp delivered on that expectation and then some. Yes, it's elliptical light is unlike any other desk lamp. Honestly, it took a few months to warm-up to it, yet the reviews were stellar, not just here on the Amazon platform but also on Grok, too. The adjustable light spectrum is impressive, and truthfully I'm still experimenting on which level of brightness I prefer. (I'm leaning to a bluer, softer shade... but I also love tinkering with it, too!) One oddity that I may have overlooked in the instructions/owner manual (which is not much, really): the ON-OFF button is a touch sensitive feature that is, well, "touchy." Intuitively, you'd think that it's on the same round dial that rotates around to adjust the lighting. Nope. It is on the top portion of the round ring at the hinge of the light fixture and the support arm. A simple swipe is all that it requires. Key word: SIMPLE. It takes a bit of getting used to, but the ergonomics are elegant and simple. Oh, one more thing: don't try it with a Band-Aid on ... don't ask me how I know that! LOL In summary, this is a great lamp. Yes, the price is a bit higher than you'd expect, but it's worth the elegant and very useful design. It more than delivers on what it promises.

Great Lamp
Waaaaayyyyyyyy more than I wanted to spend on a desk lamp and I delighted I did. Superior build quality. Very accurate and easy on the eyes light. It's a functional and quite lovely design. Lots of adjustments to the arms, color temp, and brightness. The base could be a weapon if you needed to defend yourself unexpectedly. Everything has a built to last and you got something for your money feel.

Excellent reading light--versatile, attractive, easy to operate, well-made.
This is the second BENQ light we have purchased. They are sturdy, well-constructed, and very versatile. One can adjust the color temperature as well as the brightness with the quick turn of a dial, and turn the lamp on and off with just a touch of one's finger. Great design!

Good quality and just a bit expensive
Feels very solid, functions are goods, very bright. It’s make in Taiwan. The deign looks beautiful as well and it’s big. No assembly is needed. It worth the money.

This lamp is fantastic! I decided to splurge and get the best of the best, as I work long hours as a designer and good lighting for my type of work is key. I love how it can be angled the way I need it to be and the different brightnesses and lighting colour activated by tapping and adjusting the dial. I really love this lamp and it has really helped with eliminating tired eyes at the end of the day. If you don’t mind spending a bit more for a really good quality lamp - then this is it!
