Although there are now 28 Fundamental Beliefs due to an explanation regarding Creation, this book is still applicable. The updated version which is entitled, Seventh-day Adventists Believe with a copy wright of 2015 is essentially the same word for word with much smaller text which is why I bought this book. The print is a nice size with double spacing which is good for older eyes. It does offer detailed, but well written explanations of the basic beliefs which are supported by a wealth of scriptures. That being said, the content of the text is overwhelming at times because I am coming from another denomination which has some very different beliefs. My minister is giving me individual Bible Study & supplying me with study material entitled, BIBLE DOCS 101, which gives an abbreviated explanation with questions & answers that I also find helpful. My minister assures me that all the pieces will come together. I hope so.

This book doesn't merely established the foundation of the Seventh-day Adventist Church but as the Christian church as a whole. It is an exposition of biblical subjects that all Christians should believe.

really explains clearly what Seventh Day Adventist’s believe and why

This is such a thorough and helpful explanation of these lovely people. If we were to read the Bible for what it is worth and really read the most honest version of the version available, we would all follow the Adventists' beliefs. Did you know that Sunday worship was instituted by the Catholic Church and is not the Biblical Day of Worship or Day of rest in th Lord? Saturday is the proper day when the Lord rested after creating the world and joined with Adam and Eve in a day of rest and joy. There is so much we have become used to that has been changed, usually by the Roman Catholic edicts, so that now we do things which actually are not from the Bible and are not what the Bible says are right.
