I'm gonna give this blanket the whole 5 stars. I have had it for a week or two and i have no complaints. The fabric is both very soft and comfortable on the skin. It's a lot thinner then i expected it to be but that is not an issue. The pockets are spaced very well and the weight distribution across the blanket is even. I did a shake test to see how much the beads moved and i had to really shake it to even notice they moved, and you really cant tell unless your trying to find the beads, which are quite small. I purchased the king size 30lb blanket and it is pretty heavy, so much so that it can be hard to adjust the blanket if it needs moved around in the night. This is not a problem for me as I don't move around much when I sleep. I also have pets, and my cats love to sleep on it when I'm not using it, and sometimes when I am using it! It's worth noting that pet hair doesn't seem to stick to it which is yet another positive. For the price, this blanket has MORE then exceeded my expectations! The blanket looks good, feels good, and I've gotten the best sleep I can remember with it. I was late to work this morning because i accidentally slept through my alarm and I think the blanket is to blame!

UPDATE: THIS WEIGHTED BLANKET WASHED BEAUTIFULLY & EVERYTHING STAYED WHERE IT WAS SUPPOSED TO AFA THE GLASS BEADS!! STILL 5-STARS ALL THE WAY!! My son had been wanting to try a fairly heavy 18-25 lb) weighted blanket. So, the hunt was on. I had two primary concerns: 1). The outer material, it’s softness & how it felt against his skin (both of my kids are very tactile!). 2). The inner weighted material was also a consideration as I preferred glass beads on the inside and smaller sectioned pockets where they are placed. This makes for an even distribution of the beads, therefore: the weight. ••THIS BLANKET FIT MY CRITERIA PLUS, IT HAD GREAT REVIEWS!! It looks very nice on his bed and has no off-putting smell. One small drawback; It’s very heavy so I must take it to a laundromat and use a 4-6 load washing machine just to launder it, strictly due to its weight, esp when it’s wet!! It gets heavy enough that it would likely go off balance or overload even the best non-commercial front / top loaders at home. I am very happy with the quality and craftsmanship of this specific product. I love that the fabric is cotton, challenging to find that anymore. I am 107 pounds and this is the perfect weight for me.

Much smaller than expected. Shorter than hoped. Sits on top of bed but doesn't have much extra to the end of the bed. It is a good weight, and is helping to have calmer nighttime so tween child is better able to fall asleep. Fabric is good.

I love, love, love these fleece weighted blankets from Bare Home. I’ve never had a weighted blanket feel as soft, luxurious, and substantial as this one. This is my second one (first was a gift). They are truly heavy, in a good way - in a soothing, warm hug type of way. I’m someone who struggles with anxiety (especially at nighttime) and I haven’t always loved going to bed, but I actually look forward to it now because my bed is so cozy with this amazing weighted blanket. The only thing to look out for is if you have a small dog that sleeps in the bed with you, it can be hard for them to maneuver underneath it so I always keep it askew to one side of the bed and roll up the other side so my dog can get in and out of the blankets as she needs to without struggle. I’ve tried other brands of weighted blankets, and they just didn’t compare to this one. Nowhere near as soft and comforting as this one. 10/10 highly recommend this blanket to anyone with anxiety or that is just looking to get a great night’s sleep.

Yes, 25 lbs is heavy! I love it. It’s the best weighted blanket I’ve ever bought. When you take it out of the package there is 0 smell of chemicals. If you have sensitive skin this is perfect for you. It’s well worth the money. The quality is excellent. It’s beautiful and I highly recommend it. A+

Beautiful, soft weighted blanket. This is the one I'd been looking for. The last weighted blanket I bought had a rougher fleece on one side that got matted pretty quickly. This blanket has the soft, "milky fleece" on both sides. We've had it for over a year, used it regularly, and the quality is as nice as day one.

I bought this for my son who struggles to go to sleep at night. He falls asleep faster when he uses it. I love it too and take it whenever he’s not using it. I sleep deeper but have crazy dreams when I use it. It has held up well through a few washings, and even though it has to be air dried, it dries quickly.

I just bought 2 more of these! Great weight distribution, super comfortble, attractive colors, and washes well. I wash everything before I use it, so in it went, cold gentle cycle with detergent and a dash of vinegar to set the color so it never runs or fades (important). It would take forever to hang dry and is too heavy to hang anyway so I popped it into the dryer with 2 dry bath towels. The blanket was perfectly dry in half an hour and my kid sleeping under it just 2 hours later. It was like magic watching this weighted blanket so gently confine, and then settle my wiggly ADHD child with restless legs. That's the 10lb 40x60 green blanket. I love it, so the next day I got the velvety soft blue for my other kid (it's gorgeous but might be too warm for some people, I suspect), and a 12lb 48x72 for myself. I chose not to get a queen because it is heavy, and I think a larger one would be awkward and cumbersome to position or adjust at night. Besides, I'm single. If I weren't, I'd still consider 2 twins instead of a queen, personally. None of my family have been sleeping well lately but I look forward to some good rest tonight! As for choosing weight, I'd have definitely gone heavier years ago when my anxiety was super intense. For me now, the 12 lb twin blanket feels like I'm free to move but with resistance and it feels right. I'm a somewhat petite female. I had a great snuggle under it to try it out, and now it's happily whirring in the washer.

My child loves it- Soft textures and well made blanket. Helps them get to sleep easier. Wish it was a bit bigger- Although that would come with an increased weight I'm not sure they could get out of. My whole house is covered with Bare sheets and Duvet covers- All Excellent quality for the Price!

It is a good weight for me. I sleep well with it. Definitely improved sleep quality.

How have I lived without one of these for so long?! This is the best purchase I’ve made in I don’t know how long. Just arrived today and even cold out of the box I felt like I was wrapped in heaven. The material is so silky soft and does not disappoint! The colour is gorgeous and I feel like I’ve been gifted pure luxury in a blanket. Can’t say enough good things about this blanket. It’s perfect. Must buy.
