Nice design
It's a red styled Rx-78-2. Idk if it's just the kit's lore but I can feel the Hawaii vibe. Simple assembly. Panel lining and painting around the yellow eye part, grey could help

Easy to assemble for a seven yr old
My son (7) insisted on doing it himself and he did a phenomenal job putting it together. The instructions were obviously good and the pieces went together well that he did not need any assistance. It wasn’t overly complicated as some of the more detailed models can be and I plan on getting more in the series.
