Amazing performance and user interface
I have a 48v setup running 30amps battery current, and a 7070 flipsky brushless motor; delivers power AMAZINGLY to the motor. This feels sturdy and dense; high quality parts. Compared to a generic 48v brushless motor controller, this 75100 vesc is WAY better. Not to mention, you can TUNE the VESC via the "vesc tool" app, which costs a few dollars on a phone, but I think is free on pc. It allows you to tyne everything; motor current, regen brake, battery voltage and current, throttle, etc.... Best brushless motor controller I've tried so far. Definetly worth the price.

Its better then most ebike controllers and they back thier warranty.
This is the second one ive bought, the first one had some soldering problems but they did refund me and the second one I bought a warranty to make sure it was covered incase of any problems. I really like the product. Its way ahead on what you can do with it on an electric bike compared to other controllers.

Good Choice!
This motor controller is an excellent choice for RSF650 builds, particularly if maintaining a lightweight and compact design is a priority. It offers sufficient power to comfortably carry a 200-pound rider up to 40 mph without sacrificing performance. To optimize thermal management, I mounted the 72100 Pro V2 on a 4" x 6" aluminum plate and added extra heat sinks, just in case. I've had no issues with it, so much so that I bought another one for future projects. Although the VESC app has a slight learning curve, the cost and space savings justify the initial time investment.

Having issues, check the firmware.
I wired everything up correctly and was having issues with the motor. It was shaking and stuttering. Low and behold it's firmware was for a 75 300. Updated it to 75 100 v2 from GitHub and it worked perfectly. I had requested a replacement because I thought it was defective.

Excellent VESC!
I've used a few of these Flipsky VESCs over the past year or so, and they've been great. Upgrading to the v2.0 (in any of the models) is great because you get the phase filters AND the on/off functionality. There is a ton of customization that you can do with these things and they are great for getting your BLDC/brushless motors up and running. I have not tried it, but apparently you can use these controllers for regular brushed DC motors as well, which means they can pretty much help you control any motor project you've got!

Garbage Hardware Matched Only by the Incompetence of its Design
What a piece of garbage! You'd be better off yelling at your project to get it to move than using this crap. A quick disclaimer before I launch into all of the reasons you should avoid this like that creepy uncle at Christmas. I was a ASE Master Auto Technician for almost 20 years before I got into IT and Software Development as my second successful 20 year career. So none of this is about being ham handed, not knowing what I'm doing or being incompetent. The software is pretty bad too, but I'm here to spread the hellfire and brimstone about this inept piece of HARDWARE. And I literally mean fire, it melted down a few minutes after I powered it up! After an almost all day, careful installation and careful soldering and configuring session. HANG ON, HANG ON, it was not caused by a wire shorting on something, or a crossed wire, or incorrect wiring for that matter. It was caused by the crappy, low quality plastic that the pre pigtail terminals are housed in. It has these tiny terminals I've never seen used anywhere before and I've been in IT for over 20 years! This is supposed to be rugged and live on bikes and skateboards outside, but the connectors look so hopelessly inadequate and flimsy feeling that I was amazed these were his choices on his PCB. And while we're here we'll talk about is crappy PCB it's supposed to be pro version, Bah Humbug! Use the absolute smallest and fragile resistors, capacitors and connectors and cram them so tightly on the PCB that there would be no hope of fixing anything short of a microcope soldering station. That would be really cool if it was on some high-tech gadget that sat on your desk and air conditioning all day. Why make a rugged aluminum PCB board and box (which is also a joke) if you're going to make flimsy connectors and cram it all in so that it overheats? And it not only is the "Pro Case" not waterproof (again, this thing is supposed to be out in the real world not on your desk) it is not even water resistant! What a joke! All of the connectors go from the PCB on the inside through holes with a quarter inch gap around all sides! Not a gasket nor grommet anywhere in site. And the crap wire that goes in these plastic connectors (I'm not really sure where he cooked up this concoction of plastics) connectors is the smallest gauge I've ever seen outside of a Laptop and it's copper coated aluminium wire which also sucks. But the reason mine melted together was the plastic that is supposed to insulate the terminals from each other DOESN'T and caused a meltdown almost immediately on two different connectors! And this is not a case of bad soldering (world champion solderer here) keep in mind these were pigtailed connectors that I never touched except to plug in. This after I spent almost a whole day configuring and installing it. I watched it happen and could not believe how soft the plastic was. Utterly Useless. I'd give it 0 or -Stars if Amazon would let me, but as it is it gets 1 Star. Excuse me while I go and spend another few hours to put back in the bone stock controller that is twice as well built and yell at the FLIMSY 75100 "pro" to make me a sandwich...

Once I got a little programing done this thing works beautifully. I would definitely recommend it for any custom projects

Solid construction, wires are high grade flexible silicone and connectors lock in . Came with push switch and very useful handle bar key switch with a very bright battery voltage display . Easy setup with VESC app. was setup and running in a couple of min. Must buy if You are stuck with an E-Bike with a bad controller and cannot find a replacement, or wnat to upgrade from stock for more performance options . Seller is super helpful .
