The item was easy to put on over shoes/boots. They did help on icy roads/pavements. But did not stay in place for full walk.

These grip very well on icey pavements and roads, but after 45 minute / 4 mile street walk with the dog, the back spikes have come off both feet. I am unlikely to buy again.
