For the price these are great value with a quick heat up time.

I use this solely for fitting threaded inserts into 3D printed parts so can't comment on the soldering capability (I have a much more expensive iron for soldering). It heats up extremely quickly and certainly meets the requirements for what I need it for. It doesn't get used every day, or even every week so I can't comment on the longevity, but at this price if I get a year out of it I'll be happy. A good product at a bargain price.

Perfect for the price, allows you to adjust the temp. I am a beginner, this was my 2nd iron, and it was a huge improvement on my first one. I wish I had started with one of these.

Perfect for fixing my DEWALT batteries. The soldering iron is super user friendly with the LCD display you can easily set your temperature target and see it adjusting so you know when it’s ready to use. It gets to temperature within seconds! I tend to set it at 350 and have no issues at all. I managed to solder a small amount inside a battery to repair and it’s now been 5 days and the battery has been in use 10 hours a day and had no issues at all after the repair so very happy. The stand for the iron is very small and quite flimsy which is the only disappointing part and the cleaning sponge will probably last 1 session 2 at the most so will have to invest in a better one.

Heats up fast and gets very very hot , melts solder instantly, I’ve been using it for guitar repairs , the highest setting is a bit too hot for that job but nice to have the option, my only gripe is the stand supplied with it , it’s garbage, so get yourself a decent stand , other than that the actual tool is very good especially for the price, has a nice lcd display showing temperature which can be adjusted using the buttons,, very good

Heats up quickly, good range of tips, and temperature display and control is very useful. Price is reasonable. Stand is awful, so I use my old stand. Cable is a bit thick for the power so can seem unwieldy as it restarts movement.
