This is a stunning book!I have a few hundred books on illustration art and artists and this still introduced me too many I'd never heard of.All in colour beautiful glossy pages thick soft Cover book.It's my favourite Dover art book to date and the best looking.Highly recommended.

Beautiful

A useful reference book, but gives too much prominence to American artists. We could really do with a book in a similar dormat devoted to British illustrators. Dover missed a trick here - they could have provide a CD or DVD featuring all the illustrationf from the book. Many of the ones in the book are obscured or cut off by the layout and the typography.
