Review: Just writing this review cuz desertcart prompted me to. We're up to volume 9 now, and I believe the total in the series is 13. But, since this is 2022 and the first volume came out in 2018 (?) or 2019, I'm just crossing my fingers and eyes that Dark Horse will finish this off. I know they are a smaller outfit, and COVID intervened and so on, but come on. This story deserves five star treatment and should have been released all at once in a deluxe hardbound edition carried through the street by naked priestesses in something like the Ark of the Covenant, daring mortals to gaze upon its too-good-for-this-world contents. Instead, we get a couple of vols a year, which even then get delayed at the last minute. But thank you Dark Horse for putting it out and sticking with it, while Viz laughs it off and puts out 12 volumes of "Romantic Incest Story #23" every year like they were cranking out hot dogs from an automatic hot dog cranking machine (so how hard could it be is what I'm saying). Or I suppose that if Murata had decided to redraw this too we'd be lucky to get 1 volume a year between the rewrites and redraws. Perhaps Season 3 of Mob Psycho anime will create enough sales interest and volume to push us over the goal line. Or perhaps nuclear winter will annihilate us all. In any case, this series is good and you should buy it, even into your extreme old age. Review: Well written

This book winds down, somewhat, from the intensity of the Claw story arc -- but it's plenty entertaining. Reigen, vexed by a slowdown in business, takes on Japanese urban legends: the "man-faced dog", the "sprinting crone", the "red raincoat" (it wasn't red to begin with), and most formidable, the "slit-mouthed woman" (she'll ask you "am I pretty?" and there's no good answer that'll save you from harm). And more; depending on how you count, six or seven more episodes and incidents, in some of which Mob is faced with questions that begin to stress him again. The last episode -- a wealthy businessman has called in every spiritualist he could find to try to exorcise his seemingly possessed daughter -- ends on a cliffhanger, with Dimple advising Mob that this time, even he is out of his league. I called the art in the first book of this series "adequate". It's gotten a lot better since then. Just makes this title even more so one of the most interesting and fun currently running.

Yet another wonderful volume from my favorite series! Only complaint is how long it's taking to translate the remaining volumes despite being available online since the chapters were released in Japan. Will look forward to get the remaining volumes physically once they're available~!
