Absolutely amazing set of magnetic tiles. My daughter loves them. Strong magnets! Would recommend to everyone who has a kid above the age of 1.

my child loves these. the Connectix tiles are better than other brands they join together a lot better. we have had hours of fun with these making ramps for cars, garages hot air balloons. it comes with a guide book of ideas on what you can build as well

I was surprised at the weight of the box when received, it's quite heavy considering it's only got 60 various shaped tiles inside but this assures me that these are good quality and I have to admit that these are made really well in comparison to a cheaper set we bought for our son last year. The set is quite comprehensive for a starter pack with various sized squares and triangles in a range of clear colours and they connect to each other really well. Making 3 dimensional objects is very interesting and promotes imagination for kids who can explore the shapes, colours, hand to eye coordinating skills etc etc and are very useful for children aged 3 and up. The price is quite expensive though at £75 at time of review but this seems to be in keeping with other sellers and the set is very good quality. The magnets are strong too and the whole set comes in handy for all manners of early learning, from physical attributes to maths and learning engineering techniques. The plastics used are also safe for children, considering some kids will put things into their mouth these are made from BPA free food grade plastics. A fantastic little booklet is also included to give you some ideas for making various objects. I would have liked the kit to have included some wheels too as some ideas inside the booklet show vehicles. My little boy particularly likes making toy cars etc so maybe the manufacturer should consider putting some inside the starter packs. The brand seems to be very popular too and they make a range of kits from these to ball runs etc. I like the fact that the box that these come in is also large enough to pack them away easily in any order and the box is sturdy enough for lots of opening and closing. This makes it easier for parents/kids, teachers etc to pack away when not being played with. I've only deducted a star due to the price as this may be prohibitive for some people and would love to see them somewhat cheaper. Other than that this is a very good quality set and has a vital amount of fun and education for early learners.
