Have installed and used this camera for a while, the followings are the key points I want to point out:** Build quality:Very high quality, close to those $1k commercial camera builds. Upper white parts are made of heavy gauge metal with UV resistant paint which can withstand harsh weather. All moving parts produce virtually no noise at all when in operation.** Installation:Same as other Jennov model cameras, installation is a breeze. If you already have the POE infrastructure in place, all you need is just to hook up the powered ethernet cable to it, then you are in business.** App:This camera uses the newer App Videolink. Compared with the older App that came with the other Jennov cameras, it offers much more functionalities. User interfaces are also more friendly and easy to navigate.** Video:Unless you download the still images and view them on the large computer monitor side by side, you will not notice any quality differences in between the shots captured by this 6Meg camera and the ones from the 4K camera when just viewing them on the iPad large screen. Video quality is tack sharp. When zoom in all the way (30X), I can clearly see the grass blades in my lawn 15 foot away from the camera.** Audio:Via the App, when setting the profile as the same ones used by those 4K Jennov cameras, I noticed some radio frequency noise. Other than that, it is true 2-way, loud and clear.** PTZ:Compared with other brands of camera I used before, this camera’s PTZ operation is superb. It can zooms in and out in ultra fast speed. The speed for pan and tilt is above the norm as well. With the preset locations memorized in the App, I can jump from one camera location to another very quickly and conveniently. When the UPS guy walks into the watched zone I pre-defined, this camera follows him wherever he is heading to. Still trying to connect the seller on how to set up the auto patrol function which is ultra cool.** Customer service:I normally get responses within 12 hours due to their overseas tech support location. Staffs are friendly and knowledgeable.

This one is a good choice for home security. It allows you to zoom into details when you're not at home. Speaking for myself, I must have bought and installed over 50 cameras for both myself and for friends and family and I consider one of the best choices I've made. It has a web UI that you can control a lot of parameters such as resolution, bit rate etc. It provides ONVIF support so it is very easy to connect and control it either directly via home assistant or my choice, through Frigate. it provides two streams (main and sub) so it is ideal for frigate to use it for recording/live view and using the smaller sub stream for object/people detection. Zoom function is obviously was the decision maker for selecting this camera and I'm happy to say it did not disappoint. It's not like a tele camera or anything but the amount of zoom you get with 20X zoom is amazing. Although I'm not really sure if it is really 20X. IF I'd hazard a guess I'd say it's a bit more than 10X. But still gives you enough actual optical zoom to see details, which you cannot do with digital zoom even with higher resolutions.

**Update*** After using these cameras for about a month and putting them through their paces, I am quite pleased with them. I bought two more and will buy more yet when it is time to expand the coverage!Overall, a good purchase. The 30x zoom sets this camera into a class of its own. I haven't seen any other comparable models that feature this level of zoom. The pan, tilt and zoom features are fast and responsive. The night vision is crisp and clear. The construction is solid and sturdy, made of metal instead of plastic. The visual effect of the camera's presence is foreboding and watchful. Passers by are keenly aware that their actions are subject to scrutiny with this camera on patrol. That being said, the developers of the product do have some work to do in order to get this product soundly into the five star category though. In the next version, they can address the 'wonkiness' of the VideoLink app for Android. Some menus are not accessible and cause the app to freeze and restart. The IOS version, however, is spot on and leaves nothing to desire. Additionally, in some situations, there is a lot of lens flare. When the sun is setting, and grazes the path of the camera's view, the image can become tinted red and show circles of light impinging onto the frame. Likewise, at night, with the cameras situated on a roadway, in night vision mode, the headlights of oncoming cars can appear as large circles of light that obscure the vehicle. The old cameras which these replaced, both being different models, did not do that. Those issues aside though, I recommend this camera. For the price point, it is a solidly reliable performer.
