As any parent of a kid with nut allergies knows, you tend to live every moment outside the house (where food is involved) in various states of heightened paranoia...armed with an Epi-Pen and hoping you don’t have to use it. Well, we had that dreaded incident happen - with a family member no less - so it was time for a more obvious warning/reminder to everyone!I ordered these with rather low expectations, so I had to write a review for those of you thinking they’re like the plastic wrist bands you get at a carnival — they’re NOT at all cheap! I was so pleasantly surprised. They’re soft and rubbery, thick enough to be sturdy yet light enough that my little guy will keep it on. I literally have no “cons” for this one, so here are the “pros.”- Soft, raised lettering and decoration.- Easy to snap on but not easy for my 3-year-old to get off alone.- Bright colors and cute little peanut guy make for a noticeable warning. It doesn’t look like a cause-support band, it looks like something that’s there for a reason.- The length and adjustability allow for my toddler as well as myself to wear it comfortably. I was surprised by that one as well.- Reliable strength of the snap closure has lasted through his short preschool days on his backpack and lunch box.I have enough anxiety when it comes to my fearless little man, so these well-built bracelets help to lighten the stress load just a tad. If you’re a parent of a food allergy kiddo like me, I certainly recommend this small investment for a big return in reassurance!

i like everything about it. the snaps are good quality. it bright and easy to determine what is the message. a little big for a toddler but can easily be used on backpack/lunch bag

Great product! I was looking for a bracelet that sends a clear message of a peanut allergy for my small child. Several other allergy bracelets had a lot of distracting decor on the sides which I feared teachers/students would view as just a regular bracelet. However, this bracelet sends a clear message to avoid peanuts.The bracelet is adjustable, durable and can easily be wiped for cleaning. Perfect! I also love how it comes with two bracelets, just in case one gets lost or to use on backpacks/bags. Thank you for making a great product.

8.29.19 Update: We have been using the second bracelet from the set and it has made it through 12 days of school and still holding up. It is possible the first bracelet just had a bad snap. When we notified the seller (Dana), we received outstanding customer service. Not only did she quickly send us a new pair of bracelets, but she included some peanut allergy keychains as well. I have changed my rating to 5 stars because it seems maybe the first bracelet was just a fluke. I love the visibility of the bracelet, so we will see how it endures through the school year.My son is starting kindergarten and carries an epinephrine pen for a peanut allergy. I was searching for wearable items to help alert his teacher and other faculty to his allergy to help keep him safe when at school. I ordered this bracelet and we gave it a try right away. While the bracelet is bright and would definitely be noticed, it didn’t even last 5 minutes. We opened the padded envelope, took out the bracelet and put it on my son to check the sizing. It fit well, so we left it on so he could get used to it. He came back in less than 5 minutes and the snap had come completely off when he tried to remove the bracelet. I really expected the bracelet to be way more durable than it was.

My special needs child is able to point to it everyday at lunch time. Not really durable tho.

I got these for my 3 year old and 5 year old who are allergic to peanuts. I looked at several types of allergy bracelets before I purchased. This is not the cutest bracelet and that’s exactly why I chose it. I did not want the bracelets to be so cute that people would write them off as a cute accessory. I wanted them to stand out and not go with their typical adorable outfits that they wear because that makes people notice them!If your child isn’t old enough to self advocate for their allergy, they need something to identify them in case a parent is not present.The only thing I would change is that it’s a little big for my 3 year old. It will fall off of her wrist. I snap it to her lunch box for preschool.

This is cute enough my daughter likes to wear it and it also is bright and flashy to get people's attention. So far they are holding up well.

Like: bright color. Cute with the picture so anyone can understand without reading.Dislike: my 4 year old can take it off easy. When his hand is wet (washing, sweaing ...) it becomes itchy an sticky for him. He can wear it maximum 1 hour. I know how he feels because I don't like wet and sticky rubber on my wrist too.5 stars for the product. It is just not for my son.

Bought the for holidays and trips out and they are perfect. On the plane my son wore one and we attached the other to his cabin bag. Clear, bright, easy to see and obvious to anyone looking. Helped us feel more comfortable knowing that his allergy was obvious.

Used it for my 3 year old (he’s nearly 4 and fairly big), the smaller setting was perfect for him, he never took it off and it did not come off. Very useful when travelling
