Good to use
Does the job it's meant to do. Can be a bit of a fiddle seeting it up to begin with. Works well at slow speed as well as the faster ones.

reliability
This is well designed sturdy piece of kit. The only problem is that the transmission belt fell from the driven pully after a period of use, which was followed by a necessary lengthy process for refitting the same. Had the unit weighed a lot less, I may have been inclined to have returned the tool as unreliable and faulty. A number of clamping screws were much too tight following assembly, with one of them completely failing to loosen. I was forced to surrender to this situation and leave the particular screw as found for now. Should the problem occur again, I may be forced into taking more drastic action, such as resorting to a hammer & cold chisel. Putting that aside, the tool works well, and I'm happy with the results.

Best variable omni directional slow speed tool grinder.
Absolutely the best at a better price than Axminster and abetter price than Record or Jet. Seems like to all copy each other. But they do say to copy is the greatest flattery. Perfect easy set up and I completed 4 full sets of wood working chisels from blunt with nail chips to razor sharp in just a few hours. OK I'm slow. But working one handed etc. It took twice as long. Why pay more for less features you will use. Ie variable and forward and reverse. Thank you for a good design.

Absolutely terrible
Absolute load of rubbish!Not fit for purpose. I've had a tormek before so know how these work.Nut that attaches stone on keeps winding loose no matter how tight you do it. Stone stops under very little pressure. Put very light pressure on chisel, after about 10 seconds machine jumps and water gets thrown everywhere. Shouldn't be allowed to sell products as bad as this. Deserves 0 stars it's so bad.

Works as intended
Gets my Chisles sharp enough cut hair on my hand and is alot faster then a diamond stone. So does as intended

Makes the job!
Belt drive makes the machine go silently in both directions.The tool holder fits other brands tools.
