GAM SS-2 VHF Marine Antenna 40in Whip

I commercial fish in Bristol Bay Alaska and have been using these antennas for years, they are the best on the market by far. In my experience their small size outperforms the larger fiberglass antennas and are far more reliable. I would recommend this antenna to anyone needing a reliable VHF antenna.

The SS-2 Marine Antenna described by vendor with 40 inch Whip is a standard GAM SS-2- not the GAM SS-2 Marine described on the official GAM Web Site:From GAM:Marine VHF radios operate from 156.025 – 157.425 MHz which is often referred to as the two meter band. Best marine antenna I have used. Had on my boat for 9 years no issues, glad to see these guys are on Amazon, the market needs American made products that hold up like a GAM. I would recommend to anyone!
