Pulse oximeters rely on a good strong red LED light plus an algorithm to pick up the oxygen saturations by shining the red light through the skin into the capillaries. The quality of both LEDs and algorithms do differ between brands. This is an expensive brand because it excels in both those areas, and also because the shape of the side pieces do a very good job of blocking unwanted ambient light. This oximeter works very well in conditions where many fail, i.e. poor peripheral circulation and cold extremities. I've had several inexpensive oximeters that only give a reliable reading if I am sitting down indoors in a warm environment, but I want one that gives good results when I'm outside working or walking. This Nonin is excellent.

Works really good and very useful for us as we have a son who is ill a lot and we need to monitor his oxygen levels. Very recommend as it easy to use and even fit on 2 year old. Very accurate and that's compared with results of hospitals monitor.

Ottimo prodotto. Rapido e preciso anche nell'uso professionale e intenso non tradisce. Un po' più costoso, ma ne vale la pena.

Perfecto para medir la saturación de oxígeno en sangre. Muy fácil de usar y muy preciso, sirve muy bien para bebés.

Ne faccio un uso professionale. Posso confermare che i dati appaiono attendibili e la struttura abbastanza robusta da tollerare un uso intenso. In precedenza avevo acquistato un modello cinese subito restituito in quanto impreciso e delicato.

Ottimo prodotto, misurazione della saturazione anche in condizione di bassa perfusione, resistente ad un uso intensivo, ottima autonomia a un prezzo eccezionale.

L'apparato funziona bene ed è abbastnza preciso. Il punto debole è LA DELICATEZZA DELLO SNODO E DELLA NICCHIA PORTA BATTERIE
