A great purchase -
If you have buxus trees or hedges then this is a must. Last year ours were dying, infected by caterpillars, and one spar of this killed them and after two treatments the buxus were healthy again. We were told by garden centre staff that our trees and hedges wouldn’t recover and they would need to be dug up. At the start of spring we noticed that they were again starting to become effected and one spray has cleared them. It is important to spray them quite regularly. I thoroughly recommend this product.

Essential for the battle against Box moth caterpillars
My son who lives in Surrey, had a huge infestation of Box Moth caterpillars some time ago and at that time this pest was little known about. He managed to get hold of Xen Tari which with diligent use managed to save all of his box hedging. He uses it every year through the Moth season as maintenance.A few days ago I noticed an unusual patch on one of my Box Topiary balls, horror as I recognised the caterpillar immediately from seeing it in Surrey. My order was sent in immediately. The Xen Tari has clear instructions for use so without any delay all my box bushes were sprayed. The Moth has obviously migrated north to Yorkshire where I live.

Very effective
This is an excellent product for treating box blight - that’s to say green caterpillars which hatch and eat all the leaves leaving dry brown areas. I have tried other pesticides but this is the only one that works. I find that I now have to use it once a year at the start of the summer.I have tried various ways of applying it and have invested in a hand pump sprayer which makes life easier and is definitely worth it.

The Boxwood Savior
Having lost two box hedges to caterpillars last year, I was at my wit's end. But TOPBUXUS XenTari was like magic! I just mixed the powder (15g treats 150m²) and applied it to my 10m hedge. Within 48 hours, the caterpillars had stopped eating. By day 5, they had all gone. I like the fact that it's a biological solution—no damage to bees and birds in the area. I reapplied once as instructed, and my boxwoods are once again healthy. It's a bit expensive per sachet, but less than replacing plants. Tip- Apply at night when caterpillars are most active. Worth every cent to gardeners!
