Excellent replacement for super hot halogen fixtures above my sink. Made the mistake of touching one once and after a few choice words, decided they had to GO! These were bright, dimmable and cool to touch! No longer burning top of my head while washing dishes! But with confidence and save some bucks on electric! Those halogens, make your electric meter go gangbusters!

I ordered these GU10 dimmable LED bulbs (3000K-warm white, 50 W equivalent) to replace halogen bulbs in my GE pyramid range hood. The replacement bulbs arrived quickly and were easy to install and fit perfectly. Although these LEDS are warm white (3000 Kelvin), they are a bit brighter than the original halogen bulbs. This additional brightness is a good thing! They also dim perfectly (night setting on my range hood) with no flickering whatsoever. The angle of coverage is also much better than my original halogens. That these LED are longer lasting, use much less energy, and are fairly cool to touch are even more pluses. I would highly recommend them to anybody looking to replace their range hood halogens. The price for 6 bulbs is a real deal!

I was surprised by the light output of these lights and the best part is no heat or real low heat output from the lights which is the best part. The lights are easy to install and actually work.

Seem to run cooler than the glass GE GU10 bulbs we purchased in 2018, and which after running continuously at night in weatherproofed lights outside, have started to fail. The GE GU10 bulbs from 2018 were 360 lumens. These bulbs for the same wattage are 500 lumens and noticeably brighter. Build quality seems good. The entire bulb is lightweight plastic. Just installed these so no idea if they will actually last for 15,000 hours (that is, 5.1 years if you’re running these lights for 8 hours/night) claimed by the manufacturer. But the GE lights we used previously lasted for 15,000 hours plus. Since LED home lightbulbs are becoming so inexpensive, it matters less to us than it used to if bulbs make it to the end of their sometimes decades-long promised useful lives. I guess LED bulb manufacturers don’t even believe their longevity claims since a bulb rated for 30,000 hours often times has a guarantee for only 3 years 🙂.
