I bought this laptop for the purpose of using it as a web server. It will also be my “multi purpose” PC. It met all the specs that I needed and then some. Primarily the CPU, Memory, GPU, IO ports and expandability. Being that it is a budget PC, the build quality is average. It is mostly plastic but is sturdy enough for my needs. The display is sufficiently bright, responsive and the visual quality is nice. The keyboard is backlit, and it has a number pad. I use the number pad while doing text editing so that was a bonus. Given that it will serve as a web server most of the time, I will be primarily controlling it remotely, so I won’t be using it “hands on”. I was able to get about 4 hours of non-stop YouTube streaming on battery power. A side note I feel worth mentioning is that if you are going to connect an unpowered external SSD to it, you will have to connect it to the USB-C port as the USB-A ports don’t provide enough power thus creating problems. This laptop surprised me. For its price, specifications, upgradeability and performance, it will suit my needs and then some. I would recommend it.

I’m very happy with this laptop. The performance is fast and smooth, especially for gaming and everyday use. The graphics look great and the system runs quietly most of the time. Setup was quick and easy. Overall, it’s a great value for the price. Highly recommended!

Runs EU4 well from early to mid game, even at speed 5 - I know its not the most demanding game but that's like the only thing I play, so this laptop fulfills my needs. I also rarely get any overheating issues, unless if I manually reduce the fan speed to make it less noisy. The build is somewhat flimsy, and the plastic feels cheap and gets easily damaged. The display is a bit desaturated for a gaming laptop, but its not too big of an issue, otherwise I have a few complaints about it: the display glare is bad. A pain in the arse if you want to game outside. The lowest brightness setting is still abit too bright, had to download a dimmer app offset this since I like gaming with my lights off. After about 6 months, the display started glitching. small horizontal black bars with discolored vertical bars started appeared, and it'd get worse as usage time increases. Now its difficult to even read stuff. So yeah not the most durable laptop in general, its functional and good enough for the price range, tho I had to splurge money on an external display to deal with the display issue.

I’m very well-versed with the computer industry and products there in, I have done extensive research trying to find the perfect laptop for my daughter at a great bargain. There’s always a phenomenal deal out there, although they are rare to come by and this is one of those. When I say I got this from my daughter, I don’t mean to downplay it at all because I would get it for myself, although I have a high-performance laptop already, which I also got a phenomenal bargain on. This laptops processor is incredible as is the graphics card. These two together really offer a very high-end laptop. This is a brand new laptop and for the price of these products, I’m just blown away because if you do your research, you’ll see that this is easily about 25% below market value for all the specs in this laptop. I would suggest only one thing as mandatory and that’s buying a micro USB memory stick because this has 512 GB. You can buy a 1TB cheap. I might, at some point increase the ram up to 32 GB for her, but that is not necessary at all as 16 GB that it comes with is perfect. But just because I’m saying that I’m gonna do these very minor add-ons does not mean you need to do anything to this laptop at all because it is 100% perfect as it is. You have to be very careful when buying laptops online because some are way overpriced and they mix the hardware up to where you might have a good processor but a real crappy graphics card or vice versa. This laptop is perfect. I give it a 10 out of 10 for its incredible bargain. If you want a great laptop that offers you some of the top tier hardware for a mid tier pricing and this is perfect for you I mean, who wouldn’t want that. I’m not sure how they can offer such phenomenal deals because the rest of the market would have this laptop easily between $1000 on average up to $1200 on the high side. Laptop is priced at $799 currently and it’s brand new not refurbished, which is just amazing. I searched for 2.5 months to find the perfect laptop and this was it. I will definitely edit this through time if anything pops up with issues or anything. We got it set up and she’s been using it for about four days now playing games online and streaming live while playing music so this thing handles large loads seamlessly.

ACTUALIZACIÓN UN AÑO Y MEDIO DE USO: Me sigue llendo increible, pero si recomiendo que compren una base para que se enfríe. Le expandi la memoria con una ssd de 2 teras, recomendadisimo. Los juegos empiezan a calentar mas la laptop que antes, entonces si es necesario que mantengas configuraciones bajas. Sobre la bateria... no se como, pero mejoró bastante, pensaba lo contrario, pero me la llevo a la universidad y pongo un plan de ahorro de bajo consumo y me dura hasta 4 horas sin cargar para nada, es increible. De ahi en mas, ninguna queja, solo mantenla a revisar almenos una vez al año _________ RESEÑA _____________________ Estoy enamoradisimo de esta Laptop, es mi primera laptop gaming y es increíble, no me arrepiento para nada. Me salio a muy buen precio en el Prime Day, No la he podido utilizar aun para estudios universitarios, pero si para modelado 3D, Diseño gráfico, Gaming y más, y jamás me ha ido mal. Ventajas: Potabilidad: La laptop es muy ligera, te la puedes llevar en mano sin problema y no consume mucho espacio. Ventiladores: Los ventiladores son altamente customizables en la app que viene por defecto, puedes hacerlos o muy silenciosos o muy ruidosos, también puedes hacerlos automáticos o crear tu propia configuración. También puedes hacer que se active ciertas funciones cada que entras a ciertas apps. Pero lo que más me impresiona que puedo jugar cosas exigentes y la laptop apenas y se va a calentar poquito. (Igual en todo caso, recomiendo comprar una base para levantar la laptop y que entre aire, Las bases enfriadoras con ventiladores no la recomiendo, obstruye el flujo de aire, pero esto ya es decisión personal). Tarjeta gráfica nvidia y Drivers: esta laptop no decepciona, puedes hacer grabaciones, transmitir, tomar capturas, etc. Los drivers también se mantienen muy actualizados y cada cierto tiempo hay actualizaciones de sistema, lo que va bastante bien. Gaming: Esta laptop corre de todo, Puedo jugar Fortnite en Direct 12 en altos gráficos sin ningún problema y aun así manteniendo la laptop fría. Resident Evil 4 y Cyberpunk sin problema pero... recomiendo mantener el ventilador en una configuración rápida, porque estos juegos si calientan la laptop, pero igual tu puedes correrlos sin ningún problema y con gráficos alusinantes. Claro, que recomiendo variar las configuraciones para una mejor experiencia. Desventajas: Bateria: no te va a durar más de 2 horas sin estar enchufada; a no ser que lo tengas en un plan de bajo consumo, con ventiladores bajos y usando apps poco demandantes. Pero igual no te va a durar mucho la batería, la vas a tener que tener conectada para casi todo. Teclado e idioma de sistema: el sistema esta en ingles; es fácil de cambiar; el teclado es Estado Unidense; no contiene Ñ y solo brilla de color blanco, me hubiera gustado de más colores pero no tengo problema. Y sobre la Ñ, hay que cambiar el teclado en el sistema, no es difícil y de hecho, te acostumbras muy fácil, olvidando que no la contiene. Materiales: no tengo problema con esto, pero los materiales de construcción se sienten ligeros. Pantalla: tiene muy poco brillo, colores muy opacos O levemente distorsionado, (te podría causar problemas si te dedicas al diseño o el dibujo, pero para el gaming no se nota) Almacenamiento: su almacenamiento es MUY limitado, con pocos juegos se te llenará y es casi obligatorio comprar una SSD de expansión o tener buen control de tus apps. Conclusion: Me encanta y no me cansaré nunca de ella, apesar de sus defectos, estoy muy feliz por el precio económico y los beneficios que me ha brindado en casi un año de uso continuo.

Por el precio es muy poderosa y funciona con todo. Sin embargo, el botón de encendido se descompuso en 6 meses (está integrado en el teclado). Al hablar con Acer México, no me ayudaron porque es importada de USA, así que la tuve que llevar con un ingeniero.

Cuando la compré, aproveche que estaba con buen descuento y con promoción bancaria. Llevo casi un año usándola y se ha desempeñado bastante bien para tosas mis tareas. Tiene muy buena ventilación y la uso junto con una pantalla ultrawide sin ningun problema.
