I believe I purchased these on a recommendation from a travel site. I had a 10 day trip to Roatan and only took a carry on and a backpack. I am like a buffet to biting insects, so I knew I would need something strong and a lot of it, but not in a bottle. Sorry to say I didn’t use it the day we got here because I got feasted on. But after that, I used them in the morning, after swimming, before dinner, and before bed. So maybe 3-4 a day depending on what activities I did? I had a mosquito in my room that bit me on the face while I slept, so I used a wipe at bedtime too. It didn’t irritate my skin and it only had the faint odor of bug spray. One wipe did most of my exposed skin, but I would sometimes use 2. I’m a small 5’4, so if you are bigger than that, plan on 2-3 wipes per application. Do your math accordingly—3 wipes x 4/day=12 per day. Better to have too many than not enough, you know? Anyway, once I started using them I had no problems. Will definitely buy more as they travel better than a can or bottle. Plus, you can use these around your face and head without having to hold your breath or get any into your eyes or nose. Regular aerosol makes me sneeze whether I hold my breath or not, so this is a wonderful alternative!

I am very reactive to mosquito bites so I have tried most repellent products available, and I find this one to be most effective and easy to use. The sealed wipes can be easily stored and are handy to use. One towelette covers quite a bit of skin area, but I don't skimp. These CoreTex wipes do not leave an oily residue which can be annoying when going about your day. Also, there is a slight scent but it fades rapidly and is not bothersome.

Seems to work, took it on a less trekked hike (meaning walking through high grass, or tight bushes) a lot of hikes have a path that typically steer away from high grass so decided it was important to have bug spray especially on the ankles/lower leg and arms. Generally ticks attach to my leg or boot (it's rare but I've had it happen twice) Anyway for the areas covered, no ticks and no bites. I got one bite on my hand from maybe a small spider or mosquito but that was not covered from this and I was grabbing a boulder. It states it's not oily or greasy, it's semi-true. It doesn't feel super oily on your skin BUT your skin (and hand) will definitely look shiny and whatever you touch will get that oily look. So after applying feel free to wash your hands or apply with a disposable glove on. Lasted for over 3 hours, I combo'd this with their spray version of the same product (re applied on the ankles) probably not needed but wanted to be extra cautious cause I'm normally never in high grass for that long. Anyway, it works! Easy and portable. Especially great for those who don't like to spray everywhere.

I got these for my horse that has fly allergies. Spray goes everywhere so I got these to specifically apply to tail, mane and under forelock to keep her from rubbing herself raw. Works pretty good if applied twice a day, but in summer better to apply 3 times/day.
