Does the job
With a slowly ageing car, the metal cover on the gear stick has started to peel. This has left sharp edges leading to the odd scratch and cut.This solution is a no brainer. Pull it down hard over the gear stick and stretch it a bit and you’re done. No more scratches.

It's ok
Doesn't look the best, but protects my hands from the heat of my metallic gear stick. Because it's black it picks up a lot of dust and dead skin cells from your hands :/. It's very hard to fit too, but overall good enough value for money.

For automatic I think not😡
So I had just brought 2nd hand car brought this as it says for manual & automatic well after fitting It I went off to work once I arrived I spent 20 minutes in the car trying to release my key which wouldn't come out due to this not letting the release button on auto gear stick release 🤬🤬🤬
