I bought this item, looking for a dog training aid for an indoor dog that has a protective habit of barking loudly anytime a vehicle passes or (God forbid) a person actually walks by the house on the sidewalk there for that purpose. I tried a couple of "clickers" before this one, but they were not effective ... just not loud enough. I had just about given up when I saw this product and decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did ... you can hear this *click* all over the house. Now when she feels the need to raise the "alarm", she gives a little *snuffle* to see if I reach for the clicker. Quick shipping. This clicker works very well. It is well made and loud. I actually bought it for dog training, but it's a little too nice for that. It's going to go into my display of WW2 memorabilia along with my father's gear. He wasn't a paratrooper. He was a medical, but he was in the thick of it for four years.

Nice and loud. Looks good. I used it alot and its bent now so it doesn't really work anymore. Fun while it lasted.

We use this product to train our dog to come to us. It has a good loud sound so Millie can't pretend not to hear us anymore. It works! Nice quality, sturdy, good loud sound. On another note, I read some of the reviews on this site. Some are really funny! Anyway, I highly recommend this product for training purposes.

It's a fun and cool piece of history

Very cool product; vintage and seemed great. But after using it a bit, it stopped clicking...wore out with only a bit of use. Wouldn't recommend unless you don't plan to use it much and just like the way it looks.
