All the kids at the pool loved it!
I had so many parents asking me where we got this. We took it with us on a cruise with three boys. Lots of fun creative play!

Awesome Summer Pool Fun
My kiddos are absolutely loving this chest and coins. They started by using it in the hot tub as we waited for warmer weather. It's small enough for them to carry (at 5 years old) and manage the coins on their own. We have to make sure to get all the coins out before we get out of the spa or pool because our automatic vacuum would suck them up and that would well, suck. The kids dive for the coins which are pretty easy to see in the water because they reflect in the sunlight. They sink, but kind of float around depending on if jets are on, etc. In the spa the coins resurface after a bit of seemingly swimming around. I love the imagination play they're having with this and they're enjoying diving for the coins and treasure. It has tons of holes so it feels with water and stays at the bottom of the pool or on the steps where they put it. When you lift it, the water drains out. Sometimes the chest can be a challenge to open, but they can always do it after a little maneuvering. We really love this. Please note it is SMALL.

Bought this for the grandkids. Absolutely love it. We've come up with so many games to play with these. Highly recommend

Great idea and awesome looking
Great idea and awesome looking, only complaint is they are heavy enough to sink but when someone swims by them they float off; we have a subdivision pool which goes to 6 feet but I don't let me kids use this when the pools busy because they've lost some pieces because they float away. Great concept and idea but need to be heavier material.

Great underwater fun!
When I purchased I believe the description mentioned coins and gems in the chest. I received just coins and it appears the description has been updated to reflect this. This is a 40pc set, 1 chest and 39 silver and copper/gold colored coins. The chest is weighted well so it sits on the bottom of the pool nicely but isn't super heavy. The coins are not very heavy, the sink slowly and can float if they lay flat on the water. Waves and current can cause them to move around when on the bottom. If you try to place the coins in the chest while underwater it can be challenging since they are so light. Some will float around and try to swish out as you attempt to close the lid. With so many pieces you can get creative with the games you play. Who can retrieve the most coins in one dive (one breath)? A race where 1 diver recovers silver coins and the other the gold. Spread the coins all over the pool, who can recover the most in 60 seconds, etc.

Really good size
The treasure box is the perfect size for kids. It’s easy to open and the are lots of coins to search in there. It’s perfect for the pool but you can also play with it like that.

Fun for Everyone!
I purchased this for my 4 year old who is an excellent swimmer. He is also a huge Octonauts fan so the idea of underwater adventure is very popular with him. The whole family has enjoyed diving for the coins and making a contest out of it to see who can collect the most coins during a single dive. Even my 2 year old enjoys the toy despite the fact that he can't dive for the coins. He enjoys throwing them back in the pool and collecting the coins off of the pool steps. The fact that the treasure chest sinks was a big selling point for me and the number of coins that come with the set is great! This toy is worth it!UPDATE: 10/21/13 We got in the pool yesterday after a couple weeks away and this toy was again brought out and enjoyed!
