Super Sons 2: Planet of the Capes Paperback – March 13, 2018

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this series.This continues to be a decent storyline, with great one-liners, amazing dialogue and welcome craziness. While I don't want to give away to much away, I will say this is the series I have enjoyed the most since Rebirth (and I like pretty much all of the Rebirth). It is definitely NOT the BEST comic, but is by far the MOST FUN. If you enjoy your heros, not being serious once in a while: Superman teasing Batman about arming kids while Batman has a few rebutes of his own, Batman and Robin having their unique version of parent-child debates, Alfred and Lois "teaming up" to scold the kids for sneaking out past curfew, conversations and situations that will set you laughing, and remembering all the reasons you ENJOYED comics. There are few to other of storylines while have hair-raising storylines, dark twists, and angst. I do like those and read them a plenty. Yet, when you need to laugh, to remember that life it good, that there are good times full of hope, and family, and joy. Read this and LAUGH, and reread and reread. You will be glad you did.To parents: This would make a comic can be enjoyed be comics by kids and adults alike. While some of the parenting jokes and references may go over their heads there is much to enjoy. I would highly recommend for nerd parents (or even non-parents) with nerd children, as a great comic to bond with your youngster.

Super Sons is quickly becoming one of my favorite comics. Jimenez's art is gorgeous and it is really one of my favorite aspects of the story. I love all the rich details and the way the characters personalities shine through their facial expressions and body language. I just can not get enough of this art.And the characters. Tomasi writes Damian and Jon so well! They are so much fun together, the way their personalities build and clash against one another. They never cease to put a smile on my face. Their interactions really are the highlight for me.

Superman and Batman now fathers. We follow Damian Wayne and Jonathan Kent are a great Duo. I love their chemistry and personalities. It’s an incredible dynamic, and fun to read their adventures. DC Rebirth is by far some of the greatest writing I’ve seen from DC. Never thought I’d be reading Superman or any of their comics besides Batman. It definitely tops the current continuity from other publishers. I think kids would like it also.

Good read and enjoyable

This is what magic in books like these is made of: great artwork, exciting adventures, fun teen sarcasm, and the foundational good vs. evil story theme that makes me want more. Outstanding job, couldn't recommend any higher.

Love this new direction brings back the old Superman as how he should be. Useing his son as a good focal point for what's good in the world even if bad exists everywhere. He's the father you'd expect him to be and its written well coming through his son. Also it makes Robin more tolerable than he's been . Kind of like Guy Gardner had to be softened by Doomsday lol.

This is a early fun series that does not take itself to seriously. Great chemistry between characters and excellent art work.

A great follow up to volume one, which was also amazing. Very fun to see the dark and grim of Damian interact with the fun and polite Jon Kent.

I enjoy the constant bickering between these two alpha males.

Historia recomendable que por desgracia sufre del problema que veo en casi cualquier tpb pasta suave en inglés que he comprado por este medio. Su primera y última página se despega del resto del cómic dando la impresión de que se va a deshojar. Tengo la impresión de que esto ocurre ya que por el tipo de portada esta se llega a abrir un poco más debido a la rigidez de la misma y no se curva como el resto de las hojas de interiores, la primera y última hoja al estar pegadas a la pasta llegan a ser arrastradas con esta haciendo que se abra de más pero al mismo tiempo evitando que se deshoje, he visto que esto se puede evitar con un empastado como los del título Descender de Jeff Lemire que está publicando editorial océano en mi país haciendo que la pasta se doble un poco más arriba del lomo evitando que se abra de más, claro habría que ver la manera de que así no se pierds el contenido que se ubica en la parte central del cómic sobre todo en las viñetas que abarcan 2 páginas y que las portadas no se dañen por ese tipo de doblez.

Another good read in this story arc, I am really loving this comics. Hope reboot will not cancel this series.

The art is breathtaking and the writing is very fluid I enjoyed it very much.Its adorable how immature and at the same time very confident the two of them are.
