5 Stars – Crystal Clear Finish and Easy to Use! I’ve tried several epoxy brands for my woodworking and crafting projects, and this ultra clear epoxy is by far the best. The clarity is unmatched — it dries to a glass-like finish with zero bubbles (as long as you mix it slowly and carefully). It has a perfect 1:1 mixing ratio, and the consistency is just right for what I’m doing! What really impressed me was the working time — it gave me enough time to pour and pop bubbles with a heat gun without rushing. It cured hard, with no tackiness, and it stayed crystal clear, even after a few weeks. No yellowing at all! Highly recommend this for anyone looking to get professional-grade results at home. Just be sure to follow the instructions, and you’ll get a flawless finish every time.

This epoxy was easy to work with and did a good job of covering over my butcher block in my kitchen. This was my first time using an epoxy. Highly recommend.

Experienced epoxy user here. I used this on a set of white oak countertops. The counters were sealed/skim coated with 3 thin coats to ensure no bubbles formed during the flood coat. Each coat was allowed to dry, then sanded at 220, vacuumed, and wiped down with iso. The epoxy mixed and was applied as I would expect. Cured somewhat softer than other resins I've used, but looked fantastic for about one month. Then, the flood coat began separating from the seal coat. Ended up removing the counters from the installation, and removing the failed epoxy layer with my router sled. Used another finishing system, and it looks good.

UltraClear epoxy has the best epoxy I’ve used and they have some of the best customer service in the US. They are always very responsive and provide great detail and helpful advice when using their products. I’ve used the bar top epoxy on an outdoor wood table that has now been through four hurricanes and it doesn’t have a scratch! I most recently used their arts and crafts epoxy to coat coasters I made from wood and also pure epoxy coasters with pigment color added. They’ve all turned out looking amazing with great clarity. As an oil painter, color is very important to me and I have used lots of their pigments, the colors mixed well and look very high quality. I will definitely use UltraClear epoxy products in the future.

I used this product on multiple different projects. It adhered to concrete and wood very well. Cover up!! It will stick and stain everything around it

The top coat performance was disappointing. Even after letting it cure for over 2 weeks with temps well above 75 degrees, I found it to scuff and scratch easily. Also, it had a definite yellow tinge, as seen by a small amount that dried in a clear mixing cup. Anyone out there have a recommendation for a clear top coating that is crystal clear, and scuff resistant???

This resin is a winner in that since it is thicker than most other resins, you can cover your project with a single coat rather than using multiple flood coats. The downside of the resin is that it has millions of tiny micro bubbles, which require multiple passes of a heat gun or a torch, which heats up the resin, shortening its working time. Compared to other resins, it is higher in cost but has low VOCs and an adequate working time. It is carefully packaged. With other brands, I find that there is always more A left over than B but with this brand, when carefully measured there is no left over.
