Love it! Purchased this for our side door which didn’t have a peep hole. This kit came with the hole cutter needed for the install too!! Just provide your own drill and you’re good to go. I was able to get this done in just a few minutes. Feels well built and the view through the peep hole is very clear. The hole cover was an added bonus but I don’t think anyone would be able to look inside without either. Would definitely buy again if needed.

This was easy to install, and functions well. I would be careful to install at the correct height for everyone in your family. I installed at 64", but it is too high for my wife. 54" - 60" is standard, and 44" - 48" for ADA compliance. Overall, the peep hole works well, there is a wide and bright field of view, it has a privacy cover so it can't be used from the outside, and the metal is both substantial and the color matches my door hardware. It is heavy brass and should hold up well.

It fit the door great - came with a drill bit to use for the opening but the door we have was apparently too hard for that to work. We had other tools so it was fine. Install was easy and took just a couple minutes. I like that it has a little door that slides over the lens. It doesn’t have enough of a fish eye so the width of the view you see isn’t the best it could be, but you see enough. If they are right in front of the door there is no problem. The price was right!

It was pretty easy to install and it looked great! I love it came with the drill bit to make the hole on the door!

Installed on a steel exterior door. Easy to install--especially with the included boring bit. Just make sure your drill is exactly level when boring through, to remove the steel plugs from each door plate, and to remove excess insulation from the bore hole before screwing the two pieces together. Quality device for a very good price. Optical quality is not 100% (a bit of a halo), but it is relatively minor and good enough.

Was very easy to install. Great having the correct size& type of bit and the eyeviewer all together. Works exactly as described. The bit comes with a spring. I looked a pix & description. I didn't need it. I used with a metal door! I highly recommend this product.

As easy as it gets!! The drill bit is probably worth more than the peep hole!! Outstanding product!!! About a five minute job. Definitely buy!!!

Easily installed in 10 minutes (all I needed was a power drill), and it looks nice (very unobtrusive). So far it's held up extremely well and I have no reason to believe it won't continue to do so. I love that it has a slide over cover on the inside so nobody can try to peek in from the outside. Also, it has a surprisingly wide field of view so I can see pretty far to the left and right of the door.
