We have the normal soap dispensers where you push the pump on top to squirt out some soap into your hand, but they get dirty and plugged over time. So, I thought I would try a sensor-activated dispenser as a replacement. This Automatic one was inexpensive and seemed pretty simple to operate, according to the ad. Styling: My wife is the expert in this area and she says it looks nice enough to sit on the counter next to the kitchen or bathroom sink. I think it’s definitely nicer than the old pump dispenser we have. Setup: Quite simple, actually. Just charge it with the included USB charger. There is a gauge on top that tells you the amount of charge. Then unscrew the top half, fill the bottom half with your liquid soap, and screw the top back on. Even I figured that out by myself. The dispenser is triggered by just placing your hand underneath the spout. You can vary the amount of time it will dispense the soap into your hand and there is a second gauge on top to help you do that. It even has a small container that can be filled with water to be used to unplug the spout if you ever run into that situation. I’m actually impressed with this product. It’s simple, functional and looks nice. Unless I would want one that will actually wash and dry my hands, this Automatic dispenser has everything I need.

I purchased this to use with dish detergent in the kitchen and I'm happy I did. The styling is nice and it doesn't look out of place. It's really easy to use and fill. I like that it has four dispensing options that adjust how much liquid is released. The sensor works really well and resets quickly which is great for dispensing back-to-back. Seems to be built well and is rechargeable which I prefer over others that require non-rechargeable batteries. This comes with an adhesive option but I decided to leave mine on the counter. Additionally, If you have children I could see how adding one of these to the bathroom might promote more and/or better handwashing. Overall great value. *Update* It's only been about two months but the product is still working well and battery life has been about 6-7 weeks before needing a charge with the dispensing setting at the first or second level. DO NOT BUY We have bought this product twice. Both times, it has stopped working properly after about a week. The first time, we thought it was just a defective one, and we shrugged and decided to give it another go. We will not be making that mistake again. Avoid.
